Could happen... I'm more of a swing trader so I don't like trying to bob and weave between the smaller moves. If you can do it though, more power to ya!

Watching the daily fibs has been like taking candy from a baby this week. Well, that's assuming you plot them right... that dude that said the 50% retracement was at 1.3890/1.3900 is on crack.

I put SL to break even, it came back up near 2 pips, looks promising now, should be worth a Pizza that scalp.

so much fun to see how many people actually went short because EURUSD already climbed 500 pips... haha, well i will not reply individually and of course not being a smart ass, i am just laughing my ass off a bit...

Yes i can understand you don't "play" the retracement, i'm an intraday trader so 5mn chart is my wife...more easy to spot retracements.

And bears are not ready...bulls still heavily in charge.

Agree about fibs, that's why i don't use them...never knew how to plot them right....enjoy 1,3950!

May I ask what TF do you guys trade for this pair? I find H4 extremely reliable on most currencies and I most only use that as a basis to enter trades. So far I've had few signals for this pair on H4, maybe a couple or some.

But I've seen people riding this motherlode using less than H1 TF and getting more than 100pips? I only manage that using H4.

Any tips?

I don't have to resort to mind altering drugs, I know my own mind, I'm confident in my ability and I am in profit .

Use all of them. Bigger waves consist of smaller waves which consist of tiny waves which consist of nano waves, etc... If you want to spot right retracement at any timeframe, you need to go to lower timeframes as well.

Trading in the zone now, 5min range.

May last couple of hours, but when it breaks, likely in the end of hourly close or just after boosted with some news as scapegoat.
They think they are smarter than I am.

There's a real possibility of a head and shoulder formation on the weekly with the right shoulder developing at 1.4200-1.4300 or even a bit higher. I don't usually trade the H&S pattern, but it's a resistance level that might be interesting to watch.

Since i missed the long train, and closed my long i had (bummer)
I am inclined to take a short retrace if i catch it at the very top.

Scalping the tops is a lot of work i have to agree on that.

Seems to be alot of bulls have come out of the woodwork with rather smart arse comments after the fact about people trying to sell EU,
I have been selling EU all week with average success, while holding longs for US Oil and my Yen Pairs, Geppy and UY for medium term trades attached.
Why How and When trader buy or sell is not determined by who has the biggest dick, but by their banked green pips.
I quite happy with the bulls who have stated and held their course all week on thread, but the bulls who have just come out off the woodwork, boasting "told you so " could perhaps "put up" before the rally.
I was quite happy to short / defend certain levels, and still are, I still believe euro is a turd and doomed, time will tell
