i would rather short now then go long; however if you are watching it, it could pop; just keep a tight stop and put it up at even + a few pips if you go positive on the trade.

i dont know of any books; but normally you should only trade 2%-5% risk. if you are trading micro lots it is 10 cent a pip * the total number of pips before your stop it hit then divide it by the total balance in your account.

keep your target at least equal to your stop loss (50% winning trades will break even), try to make trades where your target is 1.5 of your loss...

in my case i am shorting close to 1.38, stop lose of 1.415 (350 pips) with a target of 1.32 (600 pips)... with this ratio i only have to right 40% of the time to make a profit (300 pips); if i am 50% then its 900 pips.

Add to sell with rejection of DP sl=+3 +5 and a few more avove the roll trying a short cable and aussie (hedge to lock in profit)..

Todays PA is shaping up to be very similar to the 12th. I've got a pending for 3705, but if there is an hourly close below 3700, I'll consider things turning bearish:

3731 has breach now is wait to see if retest is reject, is like chess, move by move, you decide move, wait pa reaction, then decide next move, must be patient, allow pa to confirm your desicion, then next move etc etc
sma are also coming into play!

Pa Has breached retested and rejected 1hr ascending channel, in the process is form secondary descending channel, price is mid channel, which normally is 50/50 no entry area, however if trading the breach of primary channel,, entry already placed must be manage, new entry is ok ,but the mid zone mean more caution, until this secondary channel reach either utl or ltl, and wait reaction, then make your decision

This job is not easy, otherwise everyone would be big success, :nerd:

I have a 1h channel from the bottom...
been tested twice since last night so far..3 tries last night all out @ BE...
but wondering will we break and go lower..

Bear doesn't have enough steroid to perform.
There were many news to support bear. Moreover in overbought chart S&P gave a good tone to come back. But its strength seems a pussy cat style.

Bull still strong in daily overbought chart. Bear must come back to save monthly upper TL which stays at 39xx level.
If bull can successfully pass 1.3830 it will kick up that level.

I can see EU is still on a bullish trend based on 4H chart
However, MACD is divergent
In the next 12 hours, if 4H candel chart still close as bullish above 20 MA, but MACD keeps falling with lower and lower volume, this will be a very significant indication for a divergence. Especially the closer for EU move up to 3930-4000, the higher probability rich bastards will close their long to take profit and enter short
On the other hand, if EU failed to move up and eventually break the 4H bullish trend so it will close below than 3690 (Former strong resistence and today's support) then some rich bastards will get s/l for their long and other rich bastards sell stop will trigger as well as more rich bastards will enter short..
I will put a sell limit at 3930 (if it could reach to there) and a sell stop at 3680 with 40 pips s/l

Who bought this Euro crap when it fell at 1.314x? Don't say they were individual big buyers.

I see your 1hr channel, has been breached 4+ times, there is secondary channel starting 6th 10, 2011 3240 which is acting as resist now, pa is stuck between the 2, I am rely this channel, has breached ltl last 3 4hr bars, is major battle at moment, winner will be interesting

Looks like it got to decide next week ..will long/short if it touch utl or ltl only..It might even resume to previous up trend channel ( If there's QE3 - 5 from US )..Good Luck !!
