Helicopter Ben just can't get enough QE, he is probably looking at taking his vacation on the QE2, or is it QE3 now? Nothing like back door flooding the market with $$$$ so you can keep them down. Totally didn't know about that or would have been somewhere else. Fortunately, it didn't hurt me thanks to very tight SL after last night's move south for me.
Ignored
He's on QE3 now and being sneaky about it. QE2 finished in June IIRC.

I didn't get dinged on yesterdays trade as I was @ BE after being +90 which is frustrating, but did get hit a little on a small position I tried around the 1.38 that just knicked my SL and turned around. Didn't post that position and charts earlier because I didn't know WTH was going on with that rally.

I did catch a 12 pip scalp I tried on the $chf and do have a chunk long $CAD @ 1.0168 with the SL below the last pivot low @ 1.0138 set for a swing trade back toward the recent high.
I don't care which way the market is going as long as it's going my way

looking at a nice pin bar forming in the 4H chart with nice rejection off 38. Not quite a 50% fibo retrace, though. About 40 pips away. Could be a nice area for a short entry with some support around 3680 based off the 4H, which is also the 38% fibo

Before I go out I will share my take on where we are at the moment.

Before the NFP number came out the worst was expected in the USA. A double dip recession. Then out comes the feel good number 103,000 which included PLUS 40,000 from the Verizon layoff's. Then the focus goes to "The Last Supper" and WOW the problem is solved so the focus goes back to the USA and then Gold goes up, Oil goes up and Copper goes up and HAPPY DAY'S are here again.

What is NOT being factored in is once the Merkel/Sarkozy solution is revealed and things blow up it WILL affect the US economy which is in a recession now. These facts will appear again and the Dow will drop and we will go back to October 3, 2011. In November there are BIG DEADLINES such as the Group of 12 and the Magic Solution on debt and the shortfalls.

Be patient knowing the fundamentals are clear to those that see the KING has NO CLOTHES and then PERCEPTION changes and off we go.

Bottom Line The Spinners think the economy will NOT DOUBLE DIP...

Earnings Season now...
The KING is Ben "The Wizard of Oz"

Kno,

I would add that this move is more about the USD than anything. USD is moving across the board. Even the move down from 1.45 to 1.315 was more about the USD than the euro.

Well I'm Short (Not that short, 5'10" actually)

Short EU from 3783. Seems to me the rally ran out of steam on the 1hr chart. switched to the 5 min and no new high. Therefore short. Ran a tight stop of 15 pips and now at BE+2

I'm seeing the same spike so your chart isn't lying to you.

Rumors flying that Japan may put a floor on the Yen like the Swis did with the Franc

I am really confused, how did USD spike against JPY so hard? EURJPY through the roof too. Was it weak and just dragged there by EUR?

Big Ben had a clearance sale on the $ today so the Japan went shopping?

Would not surprise me a bit to find out some time today that the BOJ gave it a little intervention push to go with the "floor" rumor.

some noise about a YEN fix. It doesn't seem credible to me, but we will see. A yen fix should give the USD a decent bump up.
