Short at 1.3593 20 pips already lets see the bear come out of hibernation till 1.30 then they can sleep as lond as they like!! equities coming under pressure now as well wait for s&p to break the 200sma on the 4h and we're in bear territory once more hopefully see a close of around 1140 jsut above the 15sma on the 4h!

Well it seems the bulls have run out of steam. Still, 3 resistance levels in a slow Euro session is quite an accomplishment. No wonder they are packing up and heading back to the barn. However, I do not believe the bears will be coming out of their den just yet.

True, it amazed me as well, but as they say, the larger the momentum, the larger the impulse.

We share the same sentiments. I am basically a fundamental trader however we must always remember short term PERCEPTION rules the day. It always happens that way since the masses go along with the crowd. That also includes the professionals or so called experts. I am a contrarian however I read all points of view.

I have determined like yourself based on the fundamentals the Euro is heading down. However right now the PERCEPTION in the market is positive so we have shorts covering and others going long.

You are wise to stay out for the moment as there are many opportunities to go short with the fundamentals telling the real story. Part of good trading and risk management is having a good trade plan.

One part of having a good trade plan is not to trade. It is much easier to trade when you have a clear mind and can be patient and look for good opportunities.

As long as the fundamentals have not changed the first fly in the ointment will cause PERCEPTION to change back to reality.

From the money flow you can see how things have gone as they flowed out of US Bonds into Oil and Gold and the British Pound and everything in the mind of many people is fine even though we know it is not. As you see the money flow out of US Bonds the yields go up and risk is back on.

There are very intelligent people on this thread and it is fun to share and learn and put our Ego's away while we trade and have fun. It is more fun to make money and be right however in the end Risk Management and Common Sense is more important than anything else.

Part of Risk Management is staying out of a trade when there is none for the moment. That is the differece between trading and gambling.

Closed my long @ 15510 for 80 pips,for short might try this with tight stoploss 10 pips..I am short @ 15597 and SL @ 15607 Risk 1% Trailing 50 Pips,Lets see how thing progress

The cost is yours to control. Proper money management allows you to control the bleeding when a trade goes against you. Stop loss is last resort when you have reached the pre-determined maximum loss you are prepared to suffer from your trade. There are methods of recovery to either make a losing trade a winning one or simply mitigate the loss, but that requires a different styl;e of trading than the conventional "enter on breakout" methods and it has to be planned in advance with a "scale in" approach.

i say u wont see substantial or the results you predict for now. On my h4 chart im seeing 3540 as downside target. the big target anyways.

forgive my sell orders. i was right and everytime you are right there is a possibility to be wrong. i wsa after 30 pips profit lol, but thats no reason to hold back yet.

see what price did on this level, see how fast it went down, see why it did, see this that banana blah, thats how i analyze markets, with market psychology. and news.

I'm sorry FxMindset, but are you quoting GBP/USD prices or are you misquoting the euros with a 5 instead of a 3?
Coincidentally the last 3 decimal places match between the two pairs

Flows out of US bonds have stabilized but they haven't reversed yet.
