low volume. Possibly driven by the big boys to lure traders into a bull trap. Don't get sucked in to any trades right now. Let the suckers fall in the quick sand. Stay alert and wait for aggressive rejection on the top side. May not happen till some time later or tomorrow.

CNBC is suggesting that this is more short coverings by the euro bears. They may be right.
I think it is more of a stop loss hunt.

yup i was right. trade numbers production %'s all jsut excuses for a scalping buy. false hopes.

Dow jones selling off atm.

all limits on. gold, dow, on.
micro lots of 0.03 so what the heck. low leverage, not much risk to equity, despite increased risk exposure with multiple trades. will check on next hour.

Anyone has an idea, where the bulls get exhausted eventually? I think our previous sell zone will fail eventually (unless we get bearish-supporting news) so I think 1.355 will be seen. And maybe 1.360...

In long term I am still bearish, but I think we may have some sort of 'hope week' - people will ignore bad things as they have already imagined such terrible things, that anything good will be a good excuse from some risk-on.

Interesting approach, never would have thought of that glad i came on to see this maybe if we reach 1.3565 its an optimal shorting position or do you see this bullish momentum carried further?

Update H1 chart . New supply zone.

Now we wait and see.

I just set a sell stop at 1.3515

I am, I am, and I assume, that the strong rejection will occur in approximately 3 hours from now, as I will be unable to trade then . But, if it will hold longer than 8 hours, I will be sitting comfortably in front of my PC waiting for the show to begin. So, lets see if I am lucky today.

Right now I see low volume and lots of speculation.
Hard to say where it will turn around.
Maybe today is not the day.

Yes true we the know the resistane levels and will be ready to short. Equities are coming under pressure and lines are stating to cross to the downside but like you said that doesnt mean anything if its simply being driven by bulls to set a trap. So lets just see how europe plays out the day

good to see this thread - first time posting here. don't ask me to post charts as i don't have any - i get figures thrown at me by a nnet program - i see possible supply areas at 1.3547 - 1.3555, then 1.3595

So, my short-term view was spot-on for now

Some weakness found on top, nothing major of yet. Buy the pullback

I am also mindful that this week is the launch of earnings season. So we should be expecting earnings reports for Q3 and guidance for Q4
This may be a catalyst for the bears when the financial sector starts to project write downs from their sovereign debt exposure.

the euro is bid. 140+ pips up since Tokyo, pushing for more, and pretty much everybody here is looking to short it. Would it not be easier to just roll with the market?

Married to your bias, countertrading against a strong trend - you want a lesson in how not to trade, its all here in the last several pages.
