Thats where 'resistance' and supply is. Thats the zone bears are defending, and have defended successfuly before, thats what im saying. Of course past results dont always forecast future results always in the right terms, but being risk-averse here, eurozone is still in such a feckin mess.
3460s seem to be resistance for now to me. im exiting my long.
and maybe a little short? yeah, sure why not?
if it breaks 3445 down , not much at least till 3390s. Im bullish since last friday, but I dont forget no market depth.. -->easy slips within range..

you sound like me before

dont its a no trade zone aka its accumulation of price which means price is only gathering momentum and if u want high reward with low risk, do so by putting into your analysis the basic 101 psychology of the bears. Do they short here? really? no dude, gotta be patient.

try to find that low risk high reward entries, not the oposite. the key of the game is to minimize risk and maximize profits.

i never 'lose' .of course i lost trades and pips, but implementing rescues, and minimizing risk is the key and maxing the profit is the key of this game. the key is profit. there is a risk also to lose that profit if it ever came to be, and become a loss.

in short lol, just wait it out

well if ure extreme go trade it. if u can trade from m1, and take profits fast, go ahead, keep an eye of the accumulation range, as it does get smaller through time.

no man.. have your own judgement, mine is just a word of advice.

think of it as 2 sculptors reaching the same goal : sculpting. (profit in our case)

i sculpt one way, that doesnt mean u should too. Im just saying that im not telling u to sculpt your structure this way, but there are those clay sculpting 101 basics everyone should know of.


force ur clay to hard, u won't have a nice statue.
Do it softly, steadily in which it is supposed to be done, you'll get a heck of a statue better than the statue of liberty!


so basically the best way to accomplish anything in this world is to listen to others, understand and then it is ur choice to apply ur own style

buma - yup i like your appraoch. and ur right.. kids are waiting for bread, beaks wide open, hell yeah im extreme, and tradimg m1.
did 2 rounds 3440-60 in the last hour. enough ammunition to fire a short w/a tight stop at 3477..

i try to see this as an option. i pay the price (tight stop loss) to buy this short option. and its cost is 2 hrs of tight range trading..

3355-3520 lo/hi, put a fibo, we are at 61.8 and momentum is slowing down.. i dont care anythingelse, i buy my put option here lol kismet.

be careful. ranges dont always hold especially with very little liquidity movements and low volatility. right now im thinking our normal odds in trading is 5/10 aka 50%. with a little 5 pip box, ur only adding maybe 0.5 to confirmation. 55%.
its making higher highs, so if ure on a buy i advice. i said advice. to hold till 3480, take profit maybe 3470 to be safe.

well i never trade accumulation. its dangerous.

Look at this.
Momentum is definitely not large, and heres closeup on m5. who is actually the momentum? bulls or bears?
box is going to break soon. see how betting on this is resistance or support is useless?
dont pick highs and lows, dont think or expect from market, see wtf is there analyze it well enough to be a trader not gambler.

i cant put it any other way.
my sell limits going to get hit soon. see where it goes from there.

+3 pips for now. we'll see wtf price wants to do now.

u were right! got stopped out for 13 pips, but shorted again above 80...

Short: Normal ratio: 5/10.
Supply level +1
Gann ressitance +1
Fibonaci 161.8 golden ratio expansion +1
pinbar + 0.025
law of motion + 0.50.

thats around: 9.75/10 for me.
for profit, so i dont mean it going to make u rich. japan and ny closed today. be careful.

in that case i would put a -2 for the usd bulls missing.

so its about 7.75/10.

Longs:
Supply:-1
Fibonaci expansion golden ratio hit:-1
pinbar:-1
missing usd bulls: +2
loss of momentum in law of motion: -.50

so longs are around: 4.5/10.

i hope im not clogging the thread, but im trying to honestl help.
possible double top. i suggest looking at chart/candlestick formations around key psycho levels. such as now.

look out for long wicks to trade on. more upside rejection, is basically an impulse force on bullish momentum.

should be sliding real soon..

ADD: if u are short put your stop loss at a low risk, yet a level in which gives price time to breath.
if u r comfortable wihtout, then dont use one - redlion.
mine is at 3500. another round number. psycho level is i think truly there. any move with significant momentum would make that demand from supply. i have no bias while trading, so i just watch and trade.

to my ratios, the higher probability of lower risk higher reward is the sell. well thats me

ADD: i agree w/what u say about SL. i was able to revise my entry to a better level, 85.. still u too work w/tight stops..
say i lost 13 pips, but w/new entry half of it is tolerated already.. so im cool. 75 breaks and we have another 20 pips in the bag.
55 breaks, and another 50 pips.. kismet..
