It goes against mathematics. MA's are based on past price, so if price get stuck and doesn't move up your "lower time" MA will flaten and it will never cross. The only option for a cross is that price keep going up (slowly or whatever) until a cross....if market wait static you will never get a cross...

nothing special Robert, the 4H RSI looks ok and so does the daily... no bearish divergence (div is when signal candle close higher than another signal candle but rsi is lower) on the last candle signals (candles that form bullish signals which are bullish candle patterns + high volume on the confirmation candle)

the scalp is started with the signal on the 1H chart (candle date 20:00) using the last 4H trend (candle 16:00) and target is fibonacci extention of this 4H trend, if price retraces on me (very likely), target retraces down as well...

Thanks for your information Micho. I was actually thinking to open up some longs as well because of the following:

For one I would think price actually does indeed have the potential to break R3 if the bulls manage to win current 5M fallen wedge as

there was no previous heavy rejection from the last supply area either.. I just closed all scalping shorts.

I too exit most of the times when div is taking place (mostly watching 15m) on either a supply or demand area. I also work a bit with volume. It kinda gives me more confirmation when volume indicates there's hidden buying/selling going on a move that goes straight into a sup/dem area.

The same goes for me in reverse, when placing long setup entries.

Sorry for the bad english btw.. Had a rough day, bit tired.

Thanks, like you're gap advice, I'll go a head and file that away. lol But, its obvious that a ton of traders trade MA crosses, as the lower time frame moves closer to a higher time frame MA, all those MA traders pile in, its why price stalls at the 350, 200 and 150 mas and then as those lower time frame mas move closer to were its stalled at higher time frame mas all those traders jump in and push it up or down depending on whether we're getting a golden or a death cross. So, price stalled at the 200 ema on the 1 hr, as the lower time frame ma's moved closer to the 200 ema on the 1 hr today, we began to break above it.

well i cant be here everyday i am busy with my job

yes scalp is a short term trade, because it is trades on the 4H chart so it is not a long term trade... could last sometime though...

i took it based on what i just wrote to robert... nothing special... might end up + or - but should be ok

Practicing my entries, this came out pretty good, since precise entries are not yet my strength. However, this one was missed only by 1 Pip
and i moved stop to break even after 7 minutes after the close of candle. Position size a bit higher than average.
Nice end of trading day for me.

Man I cant believe Steve Jobs died last night over cancer it is really all of a sudden. Cancer is the real serious deal. he was a cool dude.

If price goes below 1.3425, strong bias to short.

I will enter trade when price goes below 1.3410, for safety sake.

Aiming for a retracement towards 1.3345.

Any thoughts on this?

price is at the top of the rising channel, r2 is resisting as well. However on the m30 chart the previous 3 candle is within the previous bull candle. . hmm let see
