Announcing Bond Purchases! Is this likely to make Euro lose value? Or will it gives investors hope in the markets and make Stock`s go up and drag Euro with em?

it depends highly on the bond purchasing program... so far only announced for 40 billion... do you think europe looks good with only 40 billion bond purchase??
and heres the bummer for EURO investors...
"12 month LTROS, 13 months in December–Fixed rates with full allotment"
their so called Long TERM Refinancin program is only for 12 months... investors longing EUR would've wanted LONGER period... 12 month just doesnt scratch that itch...

Could you give example on how different Bond Purchasing programs would affect differently?

I thought that when Central Banks have announced Bond Purchases to increase liquidity that have lower the value of the respected currency. Or am I wrong on this point?

Okay i would want to ask you to go google the meaning of QE, because Bond purchasing is essential QE... in the SHORT term, this will boost the EURO on the strong inflow of liquidity, but in the long term, the VALUE of EURO deteriorates as the money they use for bond purchasing and refinance program is printed money... ALSO with rates being at 1.5% inflation is their key concern and its still regarded as elevated above 2%, but possibly drop next quater?? but who knows... NEXT quater's in 3 months later... anything can happen so its bad in the short term...

My 2 cents..one only can predict what the market reaction to this..better observe the PA than try to analyze..since a lot of things can change the direction of the currency..If one really sure that euro will go down ,then they should be rich very soon..just short with leverage 1 : 400 and use all the capital ..? if everyone short who will buy ? It's a zero sum game..Good Luck !!

It is possible the dollar could fall down and the euro jump up.

Who knows what will happen, but, no rate cut and big liquidity I think bodes well for the euro and risk-on trade in the near term, but if I knew what I was doing I would be retired already. lol

HMMBA... Sometimes I think about whole Metatrader itself is automated,, example in one minute 150 pip move...and how interest is where its stop exactly like someone hits a button...I like this market, you never know in any time you can be rich for the day or blow out..action action action..

Only the very savy trader is trade markets at times like these, and their entries will be determined days ago, any chart under 1hr is suicide, your money is gone in a blink, my suggest sit on hands, or pull up minimum 4hr or daily charts and look for very stong signals, S&R Fibs candle patterns etc etc, the higher tf are much sronger, and may give trader a chance, lower tf is all noise, and dangerous.

Try and you will see, pa is very much clearer

Hit the sl kept again in almost random up & down complexes. next time to be more carefull at it . usdx playing top & again more bull than bear or the opposte also possible & so both sides chances in play or random ranging. . let's see what happen & if any scalping possible to have some pips today . Afraid with gbpusd , broken lows with signals usdx continue up & eu continue down further or in other word premature ejaculation for bull possible .
