ECB rate unchanged. This is not good for market expectations because it does not signal that ECB is addressing the economic slowdown.

Even equity indices are falling.

Market is very disappointed.

This now puts more pressure on the EZ governments to take actions to address the economy themselves because the ECB is not going to do anything but focus on inflation expectations.

Press Conference at 8:30am EST. Let's see what Trichet has to say. He will move the market and now I even more strongly believe it will be a move to the downside.

I don't have a lot of time to fully read the previous posts but I'm expecting EUR to go down on the first part of the press conference. Will see.

Or if you have CNBC on your television, you will get it live.

Sometimes, CNBC cuts him off before the end of the press conference, so Gofer's link will come in handy when that happens and you want to keep listening.

BTW, its sort of funny. It is not central banks decision, that brings significant change in the market. It is lack of decision - first no QE3, and now no cut rate. Markets amaze me sometimes

Good News: Euro heading down.

Bad News: My sell limit order at 1.3480 didn't get triggered.

The German DAX30 has still not completed it's upwards wave 5 of the bear flag on the daily chart.

A purely technical view that is not supported by any current fundamentals.
Of course this is just Germany and does not really reflect Europe.

was too tired went to bad. woke up to big losses :.( so actually just trying to fix those losses, building ammunition to continue shorting strategy.. my day was spent at the cafes until internet was restored, ugh...
That is exactly why I don't submit an order (market or limit) without a stop loss AND my take profit already attached.

me neither, but literally internet got cut off as i was entering my s/l...
like twilight zone.. checked the rates from cnbc for 20 mins, then went to bed so tired.. and woke up to losses
anyways, compensated all, but pumping stress for 24 hrs
