Trading Made Simple EA by Guess Whom

I am reading through this remarkable thread and started testing the TMS EA.

No words can express how amazed I am with the efforts and dedication Seller9 is putting in developing this EA. Thank you Seller9.
Thanks also go to all other thread members for helping and sharing their testing results.

As this EA needs to be used in many pairs, I found it time consuming to open chart, set the TF, apply the template and attach the EA for each pair you want to test the EA on. In addition, each time you decide to change a setting in the EA you have to do that for all the pairs.

As a humble contribution to this remarkable thread, following is steps to automate this process:

 

  1. Open the chart for the first pair, set it to the desired TF, apply the template and attach the EA with your setting.
  2. Save the template with a name that make it show up as the first template in MT4's dropdown list (menu: Charts -> Template -> ....). For example “0 - TMS(14)M15.tpl”
  3. Open default charts for all the pairs you want to test
  4. Use the script from the following post to set the desired TF to all the open charts

  1. Now each time you want to attach a new version or change a setting, just do that in the chart of the first pair, save the template to the same one you created in second step above and re-run the script as in fifth step above.

Hi All,

I trade TMS Manually, but thought I would play with this on Demo. Ive had it running for a day now, but not one trade, ive set the EA using Seller9 15 Txt file, Ea seems to to be running fine....Im using V15

Dont really like posting stuff like this as Its probably somthing simple, but after 2 days of playing im stuck.....Any ideas?

TMA Daily – red – sell option only
TMA M15 Zone 50%-turned off
TDI M15 Slope 4.5 / 2.42-yellow - need turn red
TDI M15 Cross (Static) -yellow - need turn red
TDIC15-TURNED OFF
TDIC2 60-TURNED OFF
TDIC3 10080-TURNED OFF
Candel Direction-yellow - need turn red
Candel Close -red
Stochastics-green- need turn red
Stoch Slope5.0 / 2.47-- need to turn red


All lights supposed be turn red, then Robot will take trade!


Look your Screen now and you see TMS Watchdog TDI GREEN LINE NOT CROSSING RED LINE.


Also you need replace your Watchdog, LOOK right side down corner and you see .... problem.
Try setting Use Zone to false and ECN (not) to true.

I assume you have the TMA indi in your folder even though it's not on your chart.

Thanks for the info, so when youR saying TURNED OFF, shall i turn these on??....I've also removed all my old indis and started again on a fresh chart using the template in the following post, but ive not used the 1HR Set files, ive used the 15 mins ones

yeah I have the TMA in my folder, ive just put that on my chart after i posted my last screen shot, ECN was already set to false

I have noted on many occasions the EA opens two trades on one signal, and here is one example. Is there a way to rectify it.

For a while now I have been using the TMS EA on demo with the "Trade Once" parameter set to true. This was because in an earlier version it did not trade at all if "Trade Once" was set to false.

Can anyone confirm whether it is now trading properly with "Trade Once" set to false, or is there still a bug there?

(I am not averse to the cautious "trade once" approach in live trading, but particularly for testing it would seem to be ideal if it were to take as many valid set ups as possible.)

Good Day Gents. I'm pretty familiar with manually trading TMS but I find computers can do the job better than myself. I was wondering if there's an MQ4 for the latest version of the EA. I'm not sure if he just doesn't want people to work with the sourcecode or what but I wanted to see if I could add some money management and purpose the EA specifically for my purposes. Has anyone heard about this?

I have added the News Alert into Version 16, so hope nobody minds.
If set to true will not alow a new trade to open, depending on your settings, until the time of the news event has passed. It will have the following settings:

News="--News Event Settings--";
StartNews = 30;
EndNews = 15;
IncludeHigh = true;
IncludeMedium = true;
IncludeLow = false;
IncludeSpeaks = true;

people asking money management options ? there is enough of MM options IMO with the TrailingStop or Candle Trailing Stop or Fractal or Candle color reversal or TDI reverse Cross or 5ma above/under cross or Jumpstop etc...

But maybe by adding another option "Close profit/Loss in Dollar amount" would be a good idea ?

This is the Robot and forever you set up in Robot Inputs will be there. Very important, because if settings are good, then money will come in.
Picture nr. 3:
Not important how looks your screen. Robot will work without screen like Charm.


Right now I see you set up TDI M15 Cross(Static). Maybe you need Dynamic for faster entry.
Maybe you try TDIC1 – 30 Min and TDIC2 – H1confirmation , but maybe trend with H1.
Best if you open input and make settings like you like and try it out.

Star, janm has a good point for the eur/jpy problem you do have 2 running in your screenshot. did you check the other broker you are using and make sure you dont have 2 usd/chf running on it?

I have checked (and the answer is no) when it was first noted last month, unfortunately don't know how to retrive pass trade history, otherwise I can show you a double entry that makes big profits.

As this EA is currently set at 'dynamic' mode, I am more inclined to say that one of the last setting in the series of AND logic before placing the market order "blink" twice. So sending the order twice.
I just started testing the TMS EA V. 15 on two demo accounts from IBFX Australia using all the pairs. One account is using Seller9 setting (TMS(15)_M15_Seller9) and the other using Star178 setting (v15 m15 09-22 setfile) with 0.1 lot size and ECN set to true.

I have noticed that the EA is sometimes placing orders without TP or SL. This is happening with most of the pairs that have high prices (more than 2.0).

I do not know if that is a bug in the EA or related to the broker.

It should be working alright. You should also have AutoRestartRobot set to true.
