Looks as though the Italian downgrade killed risk tonight. Still early, but the futures are down and the asian markets are slightly down, flat or slightly higher, not the huge moves I expected after the New York close.

Just sit on my trading chair today and wonder why the bull ran so fast yesterday. Strong bear signal in H4 put the pair down forcefully.
Bull had to go up slowly. Let's see what happen over the week.

The EUR/USD is pressing lower, as skepticism is setting in over the EU being to ring-fence their banks in a timely manner and a report in the WSJ saying that German banks will not be able to escape the turmoil spreading through the EU banking sector. An FT article released during the US afternoon session noting spending overruns in Portugal will make it hard for that country to meet its fiscal targets agreed with international lenders is also making the rounds in Asia.
