Well first you are missing my point again, the move will/did happen (whatever the direction) on NFP momentum support. Second is not completely true in 2008.

Sure NFP start pointing down during the breakout of the dollar but you can't take Lehman out of the equation!!!!... NFP and anything else was irrelevant to avoid the run to safety when the banks starting to fall like domino. But if you mark your charts or have a FA chart as I do you will have seen that both reversal candles on the Euro Dec 08 and the confirmed on rejection on March 09 took place intraday on NFP bottoming...

Despite the FA implications (thats for another discussion) of NFP the TA point I was making was about TIMING.

I posted this chart friday night I think, then erased it by accident...its a 6month slide, the red/green 6 denotes this months close compared to the close 6 bars ago....and thats a big fat red 6 there for last month...

I was playing with you 6 chart mate.What was the retrace on the candle (09/08) after the break out 08/2008? 20%. Assuming a similar BO right now that will lead us to a retrace to 1.360x on the Sep candle which is exactly the last BO point on daily .... nothing like playing with numbers

lol, nice..and dont forget to get a green 6 this month we need a close above 4804......

but seriously when I get a chance I will have to go back as far as I can, and look at some other pairs, will be curoius to see what some other charts look like...

It is actually very impressive. I was playing around with that on Sunday. i found that gives similar (almost all) signals than the quarterly chart with the advantage of tracking them on a monthly but the disadvantaged of missing S/R levels on the quarterly (they are solid as rock).

Not really useful on crosses as expected on GJ , AUDCHF, etc but I will have a look in detail later.
