This thread is not about the Inside Bar as I have stated in earlier posts. I just dont know how to change the name. This is all about trading where the smart money is and you can make a 100 times what you can with Inside Bars. I have 2 trades on now and both are up over 500 pips each, I have been in them for 2 weeks and I check my charts once every couple of days. I just cant stand posting and posting and watching charts all day long. So I will continue to sell smart money on rallys with AUD/JPY and EUR/JPY until they tell me no more.

Inside bars do not work well period. everyone wants to show you after the fact. Now you know I always call my trades before the fact.

And if you are following this thread you are making easy pips, (Provided you dont freak out on the pullbacks,.....Ed?) You also got another easy dip, if you heeded post 1886 and another 200+ if you heeded 1884. Good luck, and I can not believe noone is following these posts. Duh?

Untill further notice we are looking at long term 99.00 on E/J and E/U ay 3200

Can someone tell me why these inside bar setups work so well on the 30 minute time frame. I have been trading them on th ehourly chart and have not had that good of success with them. I use a hard stop loss of 30 pips when I trade. what is so unique about a 30 minutes time frame? the setups seem to work out more times than not.

Inside bars suck, Read first post in the thread. I have changed the direction of this thread but could not change the title. I trade with the big boys with the smart money anymore.

Pulling 3/4 of all my lots. Not saying we will not go down farther, but its time for a nice correction. I will be looking to re-sell both pairs, especially E/U at those familiar Fib levels, possibly 3700 ish.

Ok, corrections begin. And why not, we got to prepare for NFP at the weeks end. Be careful this week fellows. I am out looking to sell later on, as I said 3700 area on E/U if she gets that far and I think she will. I have a small long on E/J for the time being, thinking maybe 103 ish.

As for NFP looking for approx 80,000 - 85,000 to sell U/CAD on Friday..

Perhaps people are getting confused where 1 idea takes over from another in the thread

Can you give a clear break down of your thought process when looking for new trades,it may help

eg what are you looking at right now as a potential setup and why ?

Are you just technical or do you now also look at fundamentals ?

Are your setups your interpretation ie could anyone pick out the same setups or is it the way we all differently interpret trend lines support resistance etc

Do you look at a setup over several time frames and what time frame do you enter on ?

How do you gauge your TP and SL and so your risk reward and money management ?

Cheers

Paulus

Dont do much but Daily Fibs, running with trend, all very simple, but one thing I do different is I hang with my trades and I stress this to everyone that comes in here. I have tried to get the thread name changed but many emails to FF have gone unanswered. Its all with smart money and maybe a look at VSA just to see where the big boys are coming from. Dont ask me to post my system, because I cant, I just see it and it works. As for up and coming I am currently in a small trade long on E/J just for sh--its and grins. I am in waiting mode and I am waiting for E/U to get to 3700 area. (38% Daily Fib), where I will sell. I may scale it, I havent decided yet. I will stop it at 3900 and LTERM T/P at 3200 with half coming out at 3450 while moving stop to entry. Also will sell A/U if it gets to 9800 area. As far as NFP, like I said if it comes out 80,000 or better I will dump the U/CAD. That is all I can tell you, but it works.

Jim

Very interesting thread. Can I ask what made you choose the long for EJ? I know it it was due for a retracement back up but I wondered what your trigger is for actually taking the trade.

As for the EU, are you looking to get short at 3700 because that is a daily fib level of the entire swing from 15th September? It still seems we making lower lows and lower highs..couldnt it just continue south?

Thanks for showing that as you see it through your eyes. I'm crap at getting the trend line retests right...I just couldn't see the daily trend line get cut that smoothly by the hourly candle on my chart.

Would a retest of the daily trend line and a continuation be the trigger or would you wait for an hourly higher high to confirm your long bias?

I think you must be in good pips with this trade (if you are still in it).

You can actually keep drawing the trendline off the highs as they occour. As in this example I entered blindly on a hunch after the first bounce only to see it do it again and form a Morning Star after the second bounce.
