I have tried many pin bar indicators but I have found none that really work how I'd like them to work.
Is there any chance someone could write an indicator with alarm or change an existing one to work on what I call a pin bar.
What I call a pin bar is in the picture attached. Nothing fancy with specific measurements to be valid, just so long as the general shape is there then that to me is a valid one. I am trying to use the pinbar as a price action indicator so as long as it has formed the general shape then I'll be happy.
And whilst I'm asking and I know how many great programmers we have here at FF, is there any way to make the indicator alarm only if it is in a particular direction? What I'm looking for is a pull back and then pin bar with alarm then price to take off in the original direction. I don't really need it to alarm on every one. (although if that's what I had I'd still be happy)
