If your hear any of the following words or phrases from the 2 old men,
then it could get messy:

  2. Recession Fear
  3. Banks and Liquidity

Guess we wait and see what the news will pick out and how it's
gonna be interpreted by the markets. Communication is key in moments
like these. Insecurity is leading the way.

Even though the PA ain't suggesting a move up, it still can go up catch some SL then head down...so f*** Trichet!

Yep. It gapped down the previous two weeks and the gap was filled both times. Not saying I would take a long position, but it's a good opportunity to take some profits before the Trichet speech.

woow what a big drop for gold I think EUR is going to be attractive for buying there r some news about saving EUR even by force! lead to investors to cash their profit from gold and ready for getting bull EUR wave

OK I see. IMO, well more than today lows is ysterday lows but it was already rejected in the European session but with a very timid move. Break down on London was made too fast on the knee jerk reaction on Dexia (that has been the only mover across markets for obvious reasons).

Further details are coming in the next hour(s) on a Emergency meeting of the Belgium government that can cause some spikes.

In any case, I would put more attention to untested breakout points more than broker gap you have. All risk aversion so a ES chart handy wouldn't hurt ....

PS: we have BB and Trichet too, not expect much on Trichet as is not a open conference but a testify on the EU parliament...but better be ready than sorry

LONDON, Oct 4 (IFR) - The closest to market EUR/USD expiry for today's
10.00am New York cut (14GMT) is a very good size 1.3200 strike,
with around EUR 500mln due to roll off. There are also large 1.3250's, but
offers ahead look to cap any rally toward this point, leaving the 1.3200 the
most likely attaction as the session progresses. Nothing in any significance in
Cable aside from 1.55's (currently out of court), while any recovery in
AUD/USD will bring 0.9470 and 0.9500 strikes back in to contention. The
largest USD/JPY strikes are outside the current daily range - lying at 77.00
and 76.45. For regular additions to our maturity calendars (More) .

I think buying dips on shorter time frame is wiser than shortening from these levels

on short term also EURO is showing potential strength to give some gains ups

EU relative to cable and the swissie is located in 2nd position

basket containing USD, EUR, GBP and CHF showing strength as follows

USD>EUR>CHF>GBP

again, this is on short term TFs

for me I'm going to long it starting 1.3190/1.3180s levels

Maybe a fake move up...the thing is i can't see any bullish development at the last 5mn swing inside the 1,317x-8x area, but price is flying...time will tell if they tricked us or not

EU on 5M TF didn't have a decent retracement since the last M5 800 trading candles

i do agree that recent development inside the area you mention (the 1.317/8x) still not favoring long side.

usually 800 candle on 5M TF is pretty much period for not decent correcting once

I'm observing EU these times and its strength position is relatively in better place if we compare its basket performance in the last 800 M5 candle.

that's why i'm weighing more on the correction now

I'm personaly believe that a fail bearish is a bull signal and a fail bullish is a bearish signal by looking and follow the daily trend this how am enter/exit the market..(Orange Mark)

Looking good so far but I might be wrong,lets see how its develop
