I personally think that BoJ will have to step in the market as Japan is an exporting economy and its not good for them that JPY get too much strengthen, so in order to take their economy at the peak,its compulsorry for them to step in the market....
m i right or wrong?

I have 2 buy limit one at 76.20 one at 76.15 set both stops at 75.80

Exports are indeed hurt immensely by the strenght in Jpy. Spoke with a management official (working for a Japanese company) this weekend and he told me that revenues are dropping rapidly due to the fact that they no longer can compete with products offered by other foreign companies. Loyal customers sooner or later have to shop around, not because of bad products or relations with Japanese companies, but solely because of price.

Headquarters in Japan will be forced to outsource production abroad on a larger scale, which in turn will result in increased unemployment, lower tax revenues etc in Japan.

Uptrend still intact,my only concern only JPY cross pairs which will brings effects to UJ pairs Direct/Indirectly

Lot's of people seeking a safe haven in Jpy. Ironic ?

- huge debt (more than 200% of Gdp)
- aging population
- exports under immense pressure
- large companies increasing efforts to take production abroad

One fine day many will realize that this is just another bubble. Could be tomorrow, a few months, next year or ...

All imo !

Here is the chart. Still looking good. RSI trendline and price channel is still intact. I would have preferred the 200SMA to hold (Blue line) but such is the nature of this beast. It is very volatile indeed. This looks like another opportunity to get in before the train leaves the station in the next couple of days. I´m still holding.

- all pairs are hoovering around multi year lows against Jpy ... safe haven effect still an important factor
- European debt problems, as indicated several times before, is not something which will be swiftly dealt with (burocracy)
- Boj/Mof lack willingness to act (despite verbal threats)
- Boj/Mof want international approach for which they lack support (they've tried several times, without success)
- last week a Japanese official said that Yen will depreciate as soon as European debt problems are solved. Seems like a rather naive and desperate thought ;-)

I see intervention as the only possible trigger for a significant move up.
Personally don't see them act anytime soon. Imo, lower prices ahead.

Agreed, a lot of people have wasted a lot of time holding up on these trades hoping that boj will intervene when it breaks record low. IMO, it's possible that boj will intervene, but I really doubt they would be stupid enough to intervene now because yen will be weakened for says 1-2 days then it's back to the same level again.

or it is the other way round since they print to devalue their debt. so usa is printing most then euro then japan.

less debt = you printed a bucket load to pay it.

Another pathetic statement. They are calling for a swift passage
from the inventors of slow decision making,THE EU. When will reality set
in ? Moreover, depending on others to do your dirty laundry
mostly ends up in tears. Attack is THE best defense. Swiss understood, Japan

Azumi: Passage Of Euro-Zone Rescue Measures Would Help Stem Yen's Rise
TOKYO (Dow Jones)--Calling for swift passage of a rescue package to bail out Greece, Japan's finance minister said Tuesday that such measures would also help to stem the yen's rise against the euro.

"To stop the yen's extreme rise against the euro and to stabilize the global economy, we want to see visible progress in the implementation of the Greek assistance scheme," Jun Azumi said at a regular press conference.
European finance ministers gathered in Luxembourg on Monday to discuss Greek reform. However, a decision on the next tranche of aid, vital if Athens is to avoid a near-term default, has been delayed until around mid-October.
