I use the Sydney opening for my daily Pivots start.

I'm not a kid, close S US.30 from friday. L EURUSD 1.3339 now. Don't kill me like cloggie. 40 millions lots is to much for my deposit. I can't close this gap. Mayby later :-) Indicators go up, go fellows go up! Ninjas incoming with sell.

anyways we'll see how the thing goes... the only reason im still BEAR biased on EURUSD is because USD is getting back with a slight safehaven status... now that CHF is risky... JPY is risky, and even GOLD is risky....

the problem with this count is the time fib and price of wave ii which comes at 1.37 area that this could only be the first leg wavew and the decline is wave x and there MIGHT BE another leg to the upside to finish an expanded flat and it will be valid for wave ii . if you draw time fib on it you ll realise that its early to consider its going down for sure thats all

It might and probably will, but in the long term, risking more than you stand to gain on any one trade is a losing strategy, unless you have a very high win rate with it.

But if you can make it work, then by all means. I'm just repeating largely conventional thought.

Agree.

The gap may close, but it can't be guaranteed that it will close before your SL gets hit

Although I think the EUR/USD will hit 1.25 before the end of the year. I think we may see a bounce back up to 1.3650-1.37 in the short term. This break below 1.34 just doesnt seem convincing and with the equity markets continuing a sideways choppy range and German Parliament vote passing to add billions more to the bailout fund I think we see some upside. Risking 47 pips and going for 323.

Long 1.3347
Stop @ 1.33
Limit order target @ 1.3670

If we break below 1.33 we are going down to at least 1.3050 and I'll reverse my position. Alternatively, if we do get this upside pop to 1.37-1.38 I will look to short there down to 1.3050 and then 1.25.

I'm someone who always uses stop losses, so I'm genuinely interested to know, what do you if price goes against you? At what point do you cut your losses and concede that it's not going to go where you expected?
