Day ain't over, but it sure looks like yet another rejection of price. Testing resistance and failing time after time isn't exactly a sign of strength, imo.

Glad I did not hop back in, but I was thiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiis close. Now I'm more confident to wait ... but really the arguments ...esp alorente ... very compelling.

if we above 77...and above 76.30..I am pretty confident on UJ...
but expect the unexpected...I placed sl @ BE...

I am happy for anyone that is holding the right side of this move.........I am not in the yen - was trading oil and pound this morning. Nice move.

I understand that buying in now looks scary but lets face it today is breakout day only way from here is up. With all the momentum pumping through it i expect it to carry on next week. Also something i have noticed is that big moves seem to happen around the first week of the month ala Eur/Aud In Aug 2nd, Eur/Usd beginning of September.

We have resistnace at 77.34 and too me looks like a nice level to short with a tight stop.

Well if you want to short it there with all this buildup leading up to that price than go for it. After all it's your money. I understand that most of you guys in this thread have been following U/J for a while and are used to seeing it fall. But as the saying goes all good things must come to an end. I got interested in U/J because it was looking great for a reversal and so far it's trading how i expected it to. I could easily see it reach 79-80 next month.

Without a doubt "If" Jap Authority step in I'm believe USDJPY will shot very high due the USD has break the strong downtrend since june 2010 secondly If UJ monthly close above 77.00 would be a very good sign for bullish as we close 2 previous month low's

Closed her out @ 45+ and looking to get back in at the open with 2 consecutive bull daily candle, hopefully....Weekly with a good bull that also is precedent of a hammer to validate a Morning star formation (highly probability bullish)

Closed out with 45 pips and looking to get back in at open with weekly candles confirming Morning star pattern ( highly probability bullish)..After todays close ofcorse.

I canīt believe you sold. You said you would hold till 77.30/40, where I mentioned the first minor resistance was found. Well, Iīm sorry you missed it. In this game, you must have the courage to follow your convictions. Itīs hard to make the big bucks scalping only the crumbs off the table. The pros in Forex are always searching for the major moves. They ignore the crumbs. Thatīs the only way to make big money.

Anyway, I am still holding. After all, the party is just beginning.

I agree with you completely. The time to jump in if youīre not in already is right at breakout which is now. You should hold while going up and keep raising your stops below the last major pivot point, while leaving plenty of room for it to move so you donīt get stopped out too soon. Also, in a major move like this, itīs important to ADD to you position on consolidations with the "House Money" you have made on the way up. I rode a large part of goldīs move from 300 to 1800 following this system. I recently was totally stopped out at 1720, to be exact, after several years of fun. You must let the market carry you. You are there just for the ride. As John Kennedyīs father always said: "In the market, I made most of my money in the seating".

thanks for the story, but talking about a historic opportunity I have few reservations concerning USD future. Yes US economy can be flexible but preferably we also need a runner on that side of the equation.
With the world getting out of resources one could argue that AUD/JPY is a better pair if you look for a historic opportunity at the long side, any thoughts?
