They are talking about expanding rights of bailout fund - EFSF(European financial stability fund). If the law passes through (and it probably will), we may see flow of cheap money into economy, weakening euro. However, it is necessary to say that reaction of markets is purely speculative now because even if they pass the law, it will take some time for those money to get into the economy. Moreover, EFSF will have to decide about actual actions and a way to influence markets. This is hard fundamentals we are talking about. Hard to read, considering current turmoil. To add more confusion, FED is doing "similar thing", only using asset swap.

Well nowadays it seems, that inflation = stability (kinda joke). So you are actually right. If the law passes, stock markets, especially bank stocks "should" strenghten.
