Hi Melbtrader I live about an hour and abit from Melbourne.
Is it aksing too much for you to post a chart showing what you regard as text book entries, because I think the last few days have been the worst I have traded.
I am in desperate need of some help, it would be very much appreciated.

The best entry points here would be a buy at the breakout from 1.3550, a sell at the trendline resistance and 161.8 level at 1.3660, and then a buy again at 1.3550. This is all very dependent on the head and shoulders pattern being valid however, and I actually eschewed selling at 1.3660, and just bought at 1.3550 both times ( a bit lower at 1.3535 in anticipation of a breakout the first time). From this point I'd expect us to break above the downtrend resistance and shoot higher for a little while, possible to 1.3800.
Bear in mind (no pun intended) that we are in a much larger downtrend however, and this might just be a pullback before another move south. I am bullish (at least for a short while) based on what I see as a inverse head and shoulders pattern, which is usually a reversal signal.
I'm just using this as an example, please don't try and trade exclusively off what I've written here, under different circumstances, all three of those entry points could have failed. If you're desperate and struggling and losing money, the best thing to do would be to take a step back into practice trade territory. As always, keep risk in perspective to your total account balance.
Any other traders here that can see anything wrong with my analysis, please say so, because for all I know that might be all total bullshit

I can hear desperation, bro, is a dangerous position to feel you are in, "every" trader has been there or will be there, my advice is to stop, forget trading for now, go back over your journal, everytrade, try identify what you did wrong, what you did right, reassess, blah blah and start fresh,
IMHO, Emotional trades, flip flop, bad entry, bad exit, stops hit, whipped, etc etc, for every advantage we think we have, there are 10 traps to get us,
Is bad to trade with the mindset, you have lost and need to makeup ground, is revenge trade, suicide, every day should be fresh start,
Maybe is good to try find reason why not to enter trade, is more helpful than find reason to enter trade, sometimes mind is trick you, you add tl's S&R fibs etc etc, that support an entry, and ignore sometimes very obvious reasons not to enter.
There are too many gaps not closed from last week for me, I am happy only to scalp until they closed, This business is not easy bro, no matter what anyone say, or boast about on forum.
