Buy GUh1 few hours ago but trade exited. no profit but rules are rules
TDI flatttt...candle turn red

Should just follow the trend I guess...well, still trial and error here.
Hope I can make better trades nexttt time

yeah, usually i should do what u said. But i saw that it just bounce from a very strong support so i guess my finger is kind of itching and want to take some trade ><

Nobody is perfect fufighter. I'll be the first to admit i'm not. However, every moment of my life is an opportunity to improve. Weren't you the one who mentioned that book "Trading in the Zone"? I've been reading it and it's an awesome book.
Any ideas? I entered GU short yesterday at 8:00 (GMT).
Was waiting for a TDI cross or at least a blue candle, but no such thing as yet.

I'd say it's up to your discretion. You could "ride the pig" or follow the rules and exit when the TDI goes up. Remember that the market could do ANYTHING so it really boils down to your individual risk tolerance.

I have been using this method for the past couple of months at first it looks very simple but if you do not follow the rules it can be tricky system to use, anywayz the system can very effective, the trick is to master the system on the demo account first, treat your demo account like its your real account and then once you have master this step them transfer it your live account, and it should take out all the stress,

If you think using real money involves the same emotion and intensity as demo you are in for a rude shock. Simply transferring it to your live account is naive and dangerous. Make sure you use micro accounts to start off with

Yep 20 pips a day consistently will make you rich men. In fact 1 pip per day every day will. But what is your risk?? Are your stops on the last swing high or low as per the system?? If so, it means you probably have stops of at least 20 to in some cases 80 pips on the one hour chart....so taking 18 to 20 pips is ridiculous. THis has been mentioned many times by many people. Risk:reward is crucial in this game ...otherwise you will blow your account.

I think you are overtrading and trying to make up for your loss. Look at the last swing high how weak it was and you are trading against a definitive uptrend

This is a classic comment and one that leads to disaster. If thats what you think...why even consider entering the trade??? THis is pure gambling and hoping for the best. Everyone take note of this comment.....If you have even the slightest inkling that "this may turn bad" STAY AWAY!!

Why worry about exiting.....LEt it roll I say.....at that level I would say you could probably take out your twice your intitial risk amount and then just keep moving your stops each new candle....maybe place it just above the ema....you ar on a winner.....ride it for all its worth.

I'll try to ride 1/2 of the pig - I've closed 1/2 already.

Ok, it was an off the cuff statement, but I've only just started with this system and I want to see what works and what doesn't. Any trade can go bad. So I tried a countertrend trade and I'll do it again and again to see what percentage might win, this one did, might just be luck, but it also might mean that the system works. judging from this thread I think it stands a good chance of being the "simplest" method of profitable trading I've come across yet, and I've sort of been there done that, with the blown account thing so while I'm on demo I might be taking some trades you may not agree with, but try not to shout at me, after all I'm not telling people they should do what I do. I'm posting charts and letting them see, bad or good,
then they can form their own opinions.

It is just past 2 AM in London. If my trading plan has a signal, I either take it or not, I do not make trading decisions based on a sentiment poll of TMS thread.

Sure, there will be some sort of recovery today after extreme ranges of yesterday, anything can happen in the market. The only thing you can control is your risk.

Keep it at 2%, get your position on with the best signal, place your stop loss, and let the market do the rest.

Is 2 AM the best time for TMS signals, personally, I don't think so, your opinion may vary.

I believe in order to become a good trader, the person should make his own independent analysis, take a trade if it fits in the plan and assume the responsibility if trade goes the other way. Learn from the mistakes and move on to the next trade.

For learning and discussion purpose it is perfectly okay to post a chart and seek opinion to understand the trading dynamics, however, getting a feeling what others are doing will not help in long run. No wonder this magic number of 95% failure probably the result of the herd mentality and lack of independent thinking or fear of assuming the responsibility of own trades.

Just my opinion.

I got in on E/U as it just barely crossed and made 30 (this was noon my time.. in Alaska), then the new 4 hour candle opened and like an idiot I didn't get in right away but did after it had already moved 40 pips and made another 21 something... luck really.. but I will still take it. Not long after I exited the trade it came back down quite a bit and now is just ranging. I think I am done for the week. Ended the week with +80.1. I'm happy with that.
