Now this is what I call a trade. Who says this doesn't work on shorter timeframes. Short Cable for a total of +180.

Waiting for the "Three Amigos" going up?

I'm not trying to add anything to the original rules, but the bigger is the distance between the green line and the red line, the bigger are the chances for the reversal.

Usually the reversal starts when the difference is 8-10. Right now EURUSD's green line 32 and the red line is 49, so the difference is 17.

The intention of my post was not to criticize or offend anyone. I may also have misunderstood the wordings in your above message which explained the entry method besides managing the trades. In any case, if my message appears harsh I apologize for that. In regards to Dcginc, most of his post are around managing and NOT entering the trades. Moreover, I am not policing anyone as I am not the thread owner and anyone can post whatever he/she thinks best. My only concern is out of respect to Big E we should restrict ourselves to TMS in this thread.

In regards to the Daily Free Secret, if I am not mistaken, that entry was not a TMS (7th from crossover and 3rd from bounce) but probably the breakout method, therefore please allow me to add another perspective through chart as how this pair could have been traded differently.

No hard feelings mate. Happy trading and more green pips to you.

P.S. I know many people including myself are not happy to see charts in this thread which are not based on TMS therefore I promise this is the last chart outside TMS

I am ALWAYS safe with my trades, I know my entry, my stop loss, my risk (2%) and my position size BEFORE placing the trade.

On the 6th, during the Swiss Bank announcement, I had 2 short positions, down 2% on the EUR_CHF and down 2% on the GBP_CHF, it happens, but my account is 10% above what it was then.

Once you get past the FEAR of losing, start to understand that ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN, and learn to Position Size to control RISK, then trading becomes EASY, almost SIMPLE you could say, another Big E saying

And that proves what? Isn't it a norm? What do you expect to hear from me? "You haven't blown your account, good for you! Oh, you've made 10% in 16 days, you're genius" ???

Big E says time and time again that we have to be VERY careful around the news, and his opinion is much more important for me than this your "exceptional" Bernanke-sample.

Spot on man...

It is fear that makes you cut a trade early when drawn down only to watch it reverse and hit your profit limit. Or not letting your profits run incase the trade turns against you and goes negative.

Fear stops you pressing the button when you instinctively know you should be entering the market. You then watch the price move favorably without you...

I think it's a huge factor in being profitable and something all traders need to overcome to succeed. I'm getting there but being able to trade live without emotion is easier said than done!

I don't know but am going to take a few screen shots to examine as I use triggerlines. Hadn't even worried about repainting until you mentioned it!

*25 minutes later and I can tell you it doesn't / hasn't repainted the minute charts so I think it's OK*

I was just entered G/C on 4 hours ( just saw it) current + around 30-40 pips. Hope it make up to -40 loss this morning from G/A lol!
