I just sold the EJ @ 104.94 ant target placed at 104.52 Sop is 25 pips above.

my gold setup tells me to short scalp every m5 breakdown retest starting from now. Daily drop to 1770 retest been completed.
But anything can happen.

it is like down 100 pips or so then up 200 pips or so then down 700 pips o rso then up ... then up...

i will only sell gold now at 1825.60 with 10 pips stop loss or so... otherwise i wait... but as you said anything can happen

i dont trade gap but hidden gap and that is 1785 on h4 that needs to be filled

I did back testing once on 'gap' trading and the results were something like it did retrace back to Fridays close about 80% of the time within a weeks period.

The gap is not a gap; it's real trading by inter-banks so I don't see why retail traders think they have a God given right to close it.

Saying that, it's a bit like Fibonacci, a bit of a self fulfilling prophecy.

In this case, I do believe it will close the gap within a weeks time.

probable but still not , with break 1812 can expect 1845 near before the fall start , trying best to limit/escape that great around 300$ .

anyway eu expecting to next level 3560/15 . still to break those H1,H4 supports at 3638 & 29 .
