I understand why someone would approach these posts with a certain amount of healthy skepticism. And, yes. There are far too many scammers in the world of forex. But, it works both ways, you know. I went through the last five pages of posts. And, I've noticed that you seem to have a lot of commentary in response to everyone else's posts. And, you post a link to the occasional new story. But, in the five pages I went through you didn't post a single chart of your own. The two times I found a chart in your posts, it was a reposting of someone else's chart. Yet, your commentary comes off like some sort of self-appointed forum police. So, aside from the experience claimed in your profile, what is it that backs up your words?
Quite simply, it doesn't take us newbies very long to figure out who knows the business and who's just talking out their backside. In spite of the lack of empirical evidence, I can tell by the way you talk about the subject that you've been doing this for awhile. I suggest that the same thing applies to "TheMoneMaker". So, lighten up already, dude.

No, I won't lighten up....there has been far too many scammers here on FF that start as this guy does, and it eventually leads to the scammers asking for people to join their website....which leads to requests for money in order to receive signals etc etc etc. It's happened many times here, and people have been duped out of thousands and thousands of dollars. Just ask any of the longer term posters here about 'Jacko'......who is one such example.....

You may well figure out who is an isn't a scammer....good for you.....I am concerned with the many, many people here who would see this guys posts as 'Wow, this guy is knows his stuff, I will follow this guy.' That's how it begins.....and it ends in tears.

As far as my posts are concerned, I have made some 450 attachments to my posts. Some are music clips, but the majority are charts with explanations and written analysis. Also, you may have gone back through 5 pages of my posts on this thread (USD/JPY Discussion), but if you checked all my posts, you would see that my last chart attached for analysis was posted only 14 hours ago. Seeing as we're talking about charts......a few pages back I was saying that it's unlikely that I would enter long until 78 caves is......on the chart below you can see the congested area we are (still) in.

I have no idea whether this will go up or down, there's just no way of knowing when we consider the EU mess and then the USA debt problems. So, still on the sidelines with this pair, much higher probability trades to be had elsewhere

Aw man c'mon. No need for this junk in here. Realjumper has been on here for a long time and meant well. Looks like he's onto this person who is maybe trying to be sneaky. He's uncovered that he has a signal service and is potentially looking for business. As far as I noticed, MoneMaker never disclosed that he has a signal service. Not that he has to, but in case he's up to no good RJ was just making it known. I understand what you're saying about his being outspoken, but that's to let everyone know 'watch out'.

As for posting charts, I don't think it's neccessary if someone explains their reasoning. A chart can be described in words. MoneMaker never gave any explanation as to why go long or short. Again, he doesn't have to, but then we have every reason to ask why. Since he continued with his signals while not giving a reason, I think digging deeper was justified.

I'm not sure if you remember or not, but last year (I think it was....I'm checking) there was someone else doing exactly the same as this guy....across several threads, right from the get go. I remember he was stealing 'his' analysis from a fairly well know website and posting it here as if it was his own. I posted the website right after he posted 'his' analysis and he was busted.

There are people who do these things and I don't know why. What I do know though, is that it is fairly easy to catch these people out, and if it saves some people from 'being led down the garden path', then it's all worthwhile.

It's hard enough to learn this business......look at the failure rate.....and there is nothing to be learned from someone who just posts levels that he plucks out of god knows where......worse is if some people who are trying to learn this business follows these levels and either a) loses money, or b) gets sucked into a scam of some sort.

If I'm wrong about this guy, I will apologise. I have no problem in doing that. But first I'll finish digging because I have seen this before several times, and what I have found out so far warrants more digging.

Now, if anyone who is going to call several levels on any given day, across several pairs, with nothing to back up how he arrived at those levels, in his first week of membership here, and expects to not be taken to task......he's dreaming.

Well said fellow, charts aren't necessary when the price levels, entries.. are clear & most importantly is that the forex info provided lead to a high% profitable ressult as compared at end of day with what happened in the markets.
Many spend their days sleeping at FF with chatting posts, no real entry levels nothing, and if they attach a chart it is nothing worth and just as a newbie trendline or useless chart..what a hard thing to do..lol

Do not remember a one time TheMoneMaker introduced himself as ForexMoneyMaker.
tell me if you see the latter signature under each post..lol

It's not wrong to post other reputable traders forex threads info here or there if it's all for free and maybe ForexMoneymaker do not have time to post so TheMoneMaker can help if he's a friend or just a lover of his posts.

So take your time to think and keep digging but do not forget yourself down..

Okay, so maybe I don't have all the facts. I didn't come to start any petty little feuds. I see far too much of that on these forums as well. In my own defense, I'll just say that I've also seen quite a few examples of snobbery disguised as the intent to protect the integrity of the site. Perhaps I assumed that of you. If so, I apologize.
The real intention of my post was simply to point out that these things might be better handled without resorting to sniping at each other, no matter how justified your anger is over the scam artists.

Why do you care of charts or from where is this or that, if you can gain money from his/her signals?!
How many guys or ladies who post charts here or there, you use their charts by true and buy or sell accordingly if they ever give entry prices.
No real trader post his real weapon and most of who attach charts are newbies & their charts are useless

The final result is the most important factor not "why"

A small phrase for you and others who attack The MoneMaker to learn from:

It's no problem, I have no issue with you, and I wish you well.

I don't like to see people taken advantage of, and I'm sure you don't either. You and I have our money on the line every time we enter a trade. I will never enter a trade based on what others think, say or do.....it's my money, and I will enter a trade when I am ready to, after careful analysis.

How do we arrive at the point of deciding to enter.....and exit.....and where to place the stop loss etc? Do we blindly follow some post that says so? How do we know how this person arrived at those numbers? Is he correct? How can we possibly know? The answer, is that if the person is genuine, he will happily show you how he arrived at those numbers, and he will almost certainly 'coach' you along as you get into the learning curve. That's how we learn.

Let me give you an example.......If you go to the thread here at FF 'Backing Trades Thru Charts', you will see it is run by a guy named TheLastCoke. He is a commercial member and he offers his analysis on many currency pairs when you sign up to his service. But.....he also posts *some* of his charts and analysis on that thread for free......not only that, he shows you how he reaches the analysis, where to enter the trades, where to exit, where to put the SL and what would invalidate the trade. That my friend, is a person who teaches, sells, gives away for free and most importantly, helps traders with complete transparency. Everything is above board and nothing is hidden.

Now, compare that kind of help right across the trading spectrum, with some guy who turns up here and immediately starts posting levels for multiple pairs across multiple forums....even outside ForexFactory....and refuses to show anyone how he arrived at these levels.

I smell a rat.......sorry if it offends, but that's the way it is.

RJ, I've been reading the discussion for a while and have to say that I fully endorse your comments. The guy is posting this stuff on multiple forums and websites, always without support data and all packaged with a modicum of arrogance. I regard him as a serial pest.
