DislikedJohn take a look and see how the PA just bounces off the HAS
THis is Kos's original way of going about the BTS...Not sure how you code this but what I have been doing us placing Limits right at the bottom or near bottom has. They have been hitting pretty good..Ignored
Hey Dry, Thank you for this. Looks like a good way to catch a trend, or re-enter.
Here is a way I have been experimenting with for catching start of trend. If you look back, you see that nearly every time there is a HA color change, PA will invarialby re challenge the HA, much like a S&P level. (see pic)
1. Wait for HA Color Change.
2. Wait for PA to retrace to HA and either cross and close, OR just stick a candle wick to the other side.
3. Place Sell/Buy Stop at High/Low created by the retrace to the HA.
I have had 3 out of 4 wins with this entry. Would have had 4 for 4 if IBFX servers hadn't gone down.
I have also, gone to the code (i am by no means a coder) and re-aligned the pairs with the SELLS on one column, and BUYS on the other, just because I am more comfortable with this.
I also have opened an additional chart, and attached the BOT to this one with a different Magic #. This way, I can look at the basket as the trade progresses. As i am sure all of you have noted, the basket tends to re-group during the trend , then continue on its way. I find it easier to see these re-groupings this way, even though the chart itself is really telling you the same thing.
Also, I have also noticed, when I have had my terminal open, that during a trade, the Bot's profit loss reading usually varies with the terminal profit loss by a few cents. Haven't seen a large difference, so may be no big deal. In fact, considering the shear huge amount of price information being processed by the BOT, it's a wonder its even THAT Close.
JIM, thank you again for all your hard work.
