I'm using Star's template for EU on 15m , EA is V14. It just recently took a buy trade, but I'm wondering what can i tweak so that it will take some trades which i've highlighted on my chart. (those grey boxes with the up/down arrows). There's so many settings i'm confused..

It means that your broker does not allow trading by expert adviser. You should talk to your broker and ask him to enable experts on the server.

There is no difference in the Way V13 and V14 place a trade, that has never changed in any of the versions.
All privious v8 to v13 was work like charm and now problems with V14. I don't think there have anything do with broker. Thanks anyway.

I don't know how do make template, because please can you make for me templates for V14, where is curriency bar and curriency value like in your privieous picture. Thank you for your time.

This trade just touches the TP line but not enough for the spread and ended up in a TDI reverse cross. Otherwise it will be a profitable trade.

first of all thanks so much for the templates, am running on multiple pairs on both m15 and h1 timeframes with success so far

ok, that trade you showed on the m15 usdcad did not trigger for me, although i did get a successful buy trade on that pair a few hours ago ( which i can see you didnt have). i am using the m15 template you provided a few posts back... have you changed any of the settings significantly ? thanks

And why the TDI cross is yellow its a good cross see pic.
And the first red candel cloced below red trendline

There will slight changes to the setting as more tests are conducted.
As EA version, date and TF are provided you can keep track of the latest update.

I am now trying a new setting, as you can see from the charts below. The first trade is on the third red candle; and on the other chart the trade is on the second candle. I need further confirmation before posting the updated set_file probably tomorrow (now bed time).

Five M15 trades last night using Star178 M15 template, all winners. No open trades at this time.

Watching 12 Pairs.

Can anyone tell me what the grey boxes on the graph represent? They are shded boxes laid directly over price action. Thanks

Guys are you worried about R:R I notice alot of 20 pip winners with 30-40 pip SL's. Or do you find that the close on cross gets us well out before the SL is hit?

you don't need the dashboard, the EA can run on it's own

After a long time watching this thread, I have finally gotten around to it thanks in particular to Star178's templates.... and, of course, our leader and coder extraordinaire, Seller9.



Having read some comments about the price almost reaching TP and then turning round, I have also set up MPTM's tightening trailing stop feature. I have the initial trail set at 1000 pipettes (100 "real" pips), and then this is reduced to 400 at 50% of the way to TP, and 200 at 80% of the way to TP, thus locking in more and more profit the closer we get to the TP. This should ensure I get something for those trades that get oh-so-close and then reverse.

For manual trade I prefer the H4 timeframe. As the EA can only places a trade at the 'pickup' point; if it misses it, than we are staring at the screen for hours if not days for the next setup. As you have included the trend line trade option in this EA, I have a suggession to overcome the above, that when price crosses the trend line the EA should place a trade immediately...
TMS Version 15 this comming weekend will have the following added.

1) Turn off TDI cross
2) Turn off TDI slope
These two should make it like a manual system using just the trend lines if you want.
3) Added alert panel offset so the top right corner is not quite as congested when you use your template with the Pair and Price in that corner, just improves the looks.
