He’ll likely repeat that the Fed is keeping its options open. Mr. Market fully expects and has fully priced-in a move by the Fed to sell shorter-dated Treasuries and buy longer-dated Treasuries to keep long-term yields low…Net impact, not much; already priced.
He could say that the Fed will cut the 0.25% paid on excess reserves held by the Fed. As the Journal pointed out this morning, that rate is higher than a year-year note.
I don’t expect a tremendous reaction unless he tips more outright bond buying (QE3). That is not expected.
In that case, expect the dollar to fall and oil and gold (and stocks) to rally strongly.

Careful if you are trying to play a long. With the news conference in the next 20 mins dealers will try to push the market below 3900 to take out stops and options. Make sure your not putting your stops there. I'd wait for a long around 3860 if I was contemplating one.

Seeing bigger moves on the M1, markets gearing up for speech's in the US i guess.

I'm not trading, i'm more comfortable waiting for it to snap back up into the .4000 i think.

I dont see it going below .3800 today however, but that does not mean it will move up much either, i'm in a bit of a tizzie...... lol

So sitting on my hands for a decent up turn.

On a side note, does anyone trade the 7 - 8 am GMT candle,

I've noticed that it tends to have a decent move both up and down most days, was thinking provided you had your finger on the close button, soon as you see a gain, you could do consistent pips, not much mind, just click, wait for some profit and close.

Anyone tried?
