Every Buy has a sell on the other side, Short or long, you can't guarentee the sucess of a trade, nor calculate the precentage of success. Tell me if I'm wrong...

how would you know it was a possible support back then when price action was moving downwards? bec i thought at that time it was going to break the support as it was broken previously during the downward trend on monday?

how were you able to filter out and enter the good trades from the bad trades? I mean, once you have a few currency pair to monitor., some looks like a sonicR setup but only a few are really good sonic R setup

Hi ddaytrader, on the chart I can see another setup as marked (I dont know whether this is a qualified sonic, pls inform). But this was obviously an bad one. Could you tell me why and how can you filter out this bad one, and choose the next good one?

Sonikers, this one is a setup. Right now the price is close enough to the text book EP, you could enter if you wanted to. However, the Frankfurt Open into early London Open might see the price move up a bit for a closer EP. We are talking less than 10 pips improvement, though.

How do you determine which is the correct wave? Looking at your entry point I would have drawn my waves as attached and taking a long for a loss. Can you please explain how you filter out waves / decide which is the correct one?

I believe ddaytrader is sleeping. Me too, soon. I will try to answer this for you. I am sure ddaytrader will also see your question and reply.

No one knows which way PA will go. The PA wave for a long that you drew is correctly drawn. However, once PA fails to continue, but instead reverses all the way back thru the Dragon, you have a clue that maybe a different PA wave is present, that supports a move in the opposite direction. One thing ddaytrader is exceptional at, is being able to quickly change gears and trade in the other direction.
1. No one knows which way PA will go.
2. The SL protects.
3. When PA reverses direction like that, a Soniker needs to be able to reverse thinking, evaluate in the opposite directon, and put on the trade if a setup exists.

ddaytrader will probably be better able to clarify this for you.

Make that 5/5 with a total of 617 pips in my basket ...

Stopped out of the short AN trade with +55 pips at my trailed stop.
