Hi Slurpee,
I am using a differant entry than you but the main thing is using the weekly trend
Results so far in pips
gbp/jpy +107
nzd/usd +39
usd/chf +131
gbp/jpy - 18
The method I am using is not relevant the big thing is using the weekly trend add that to your method and I am sure you will filter out some of the losses

worth looking into. Anything to increase the 'yield' of the system

Find a trend and milk it for all it is worth. That's how to be profitable

I don't see your results in the first post??

have you kept a record of all your trades?

btw..with my results if you'd set take profit to 340 pips 1:2 r/r

143 trades, 52 wins, 48 loss, 43 break even = +56 (9520 pips)

That's 36% win and return of 39% on investment (who needs a high win %)

yet only 3 of 4 pairs show a profit using this MM, I've just looked at aususd and that shows +2 1:1 r/r and -2 1:2 r/r
Ignored

I've put the first 5 pairs results on a spreadsheet and it looks pretty good:

20 months - average 493 pips profit/month

Using 2% risk of your bank each time would have tripled your original starting bank, I'll endeavour to look at another 5 pairs.

Hi Zortan,

So these 5 pairs are GBPUSD, EURUSD, EURGBP, USDJPY and AUDUSD...? I think you mentioned these ones on your last posts... and with TP at 340 pips? Do you mind to put the results of each one?

That's very helpful because we can know which pairs work better with this system, then we can choose those ones when we have 2 or 3 signals the same day...

Thank you very much.

Is it really only 493 pips/month? I'm up 2400 pips in one week using this system. But then again, I only have 1 week as a sample size.

Hi slurpee if you look at the EUR/GBP in the weekly chart it is going sideways and you would not trade it.
I will put up you template and back test some trending pairs and see what happens

If you put in the indicators and the dashboard by looking at the dash board you can see which pairs are trending put up those charts and look for entries using your rules.

Does anyone know what happened to the EURGBP? Was there a government intervention or was there some news? The pairs have been acting strange lately.

I didn't take the trade, (not because of Stumpy's reasoning but) however, because I use fibonacci and at the time, there wasn't enough room (150 pips minimum) for it to move. It was about 80 pips away from reaching 100.0 retracement level. (This is just what I use to determine entry or not).
