I wonder why people read the thread over and over when they do not like it at all thinking system sucks? It is easy to critisize , better move away and find the one that is working for you.

Picked the wrong day to try out trading on the 15 min charts. Every signal going a couple candles, then reverses all profits and then some. E/U hasnt gone anywhere. G/U is worse. A/U ugly. Current open trades at a loss...

currently watching the GBP/AUD, either going to break support or bounce and make a double bottom.

the daily and weekly dont really give any clues.

As a Pro trader for 4 years I sometime look around on the internet for interesting ideas (don't find many) and this thread caught my eye. It's very similar to something I look at from time to time to highlight cycles/waves in the market. However I use the 22 period Hull MA. If you look at the day chart and notice when a candle cross closes inside the Hull MA, in nearly always coincides with a cross of the red by the blue in E's method. A big candle close is equivalent to a sharp angle cross etc. However, I do think looking at the Hull you get a clearer idea of what is going on, for example some guys have had trouble trading the hourly (EU) over the last week or so, if you look at the chart, clearly there is no cyclic movement (until yesterday) with price chopping back and forward across the line, a clear indication not to use that time frame. This is just an alternative way of looking at the same thing which some of those with a visual orintation may prefer. You could use a touch or close beyond the line as a trailing S/L. I personally don't really like HA candles, it's like looking at a chart through frosted glass.

Looks like AUDUSD is setting up to fall back down...... I guess more confirmation is needed but I'll be watching closely.

I had 4 trades during the NY session and I am -6 net. Not a big loss for 4 trades but not inspiring either. I sometimes wish I would trade the Asian, it may be less exciting but maybe better on the nerves.

E/U has been horrible today but I have just entered short from 15 min chart signal. bit of a weak cross on the TDI but G/U is going down nicely a may help.

In with 2 minis on a live account and a tight stop of 1*ATR.
Short Euro and remaining that way. That's just the way it is !

Firstly, thank you Big E very much for sharing something like this for free. I think you aleardy know that others sell for $ some systems which are worse than this, and you do it for free
Secondly, i just started back testing this strategy and even though my first few trades were not profitable i see very much potential in this system.
I wanted to know from those who trade LIVE if you ever enter a trade with this system against the big trend ?
And can you guys tell me if my entry is correct, and if not, why?

If you want somebody answer this question you have to give YOUR definition of "the big trend", so we will be on the same page, so to speak.

iNs0mN1a, I think you entered according to the rules. However it is not the best entry because the green line is around 50. Big E said many times that the best entry is around 32 and 68. So it is not the perfect entry but a good one.

By big trend i mean the direction in which last candles went on a TF.
Like in the picture, we see that the trend in the last candles is up. If we see a signal for going short on H1 or H4, should we take it ?
Because my stop losses today were hitted for the exact same reason, i wanted to make pips against the trend...

...and to add to favorite's comments. Your S/L might be a bit tight for the Daily chart given where some of the tails are on the previous candles.

I never check Daily TF. I believe that the H-1 contains all the information we need (including the trend). If I see a good entry on H-1 (everything according to the rules and good PA) I go to M-5 and wait for a good moment to enter.
