holy fuk, when is the last time you see 1000 pip move in the CHF pairs in one day?

Last night got stopped out at 4050 -27pips re-entered long at 4083 and took 100pips.


Now I'm looking to buy at 4044 ...with sl at 4009.... It might bounce before that so ill be watching. Now that i think about should've rode it down

The levels I sketched up yesterday (in red) play out well so far. I closed M1 short from 4180 earlier, now short again from 4055 SL4059 TP 3980, or close at M1 TK cross

I'll tell you my little story

newbie talking so go easy

Last night (AU) I figured since there was impending intervention but news saying they wouldn't let it go beyond parity, parity being way off, I went short (0.02) for a bit of a scalp until things got a little more serious. I only put that much because I don't have a big account and it was a bit of a speculator.

Fast forward to day, it was generally in loss but fluctuating with the buys I had on EUR/USD so I didn't bother.

Checked it before leaving work.. down -33$ so a lot of pips. Check the news and see that intervention is on, but being new to this, I see it is already stalling and I figure drive home and re-evaluate.

30 mins drive home, I go immediately to PC and check. -$55.. getting serious now. So reluctantly I go for a hedge, but I figure might as well try to get a bit back here and went for 0.05 on the long

And not even 1 minute later, my EUR trades, the long on CHF rockets up and the CHF short is getting big loss, too.

Long story short, I killed the short CHF at -190$ ( I waited until the 5:2 ratio gave me profit against the two positions), TP the long CHF at $300 and the two EUR trades I had gave me $100.

Chump change to you folks, perhaps but if I'd have erred even a minute more, I'd be looking at the charred remains of an account right now.

Back , what a situation , it back again so fast , more bear possible but price stall here anyway as of 6th daily rally candle ranging ok . scalping long again taken for near limit levels 4169 or as far it can .
