Had a number of longs and shorts at the 1.4090 area but overall i'm short. Closed a long at 1.4210. I still see see all reasons to remain bearish.

for all those that do not have sqawk or didn't read their live news, here's the scoop

SNB intervenes in the market stating that the CHF is massively overvalued and will defend against it with "utmost determination". The SNB is targeting and will defend a EURCHF minimum rate of 1.2000 stating that even this rate is still by far too low. SNB will commit an "unlimited amount" of funds to defend this level.

And magically the majority here caught close to the full run upwards on that candle ( as expected on these boards ).. I really wonder how many of them are actually true and how many of them just got their account wiped lol.

Myself I grabbed 40 pips btw.

Indeed, gaps usually are filled, sometimes on Monday (if they do that it is a reverse) some on Tuesday (but not so violant as this one). I will be waiting for US open to make a stance.

Guess you were not the only one in luck. After taking buy signals at new lows and ended last week in the red, yesterday, prices retraced a complete 100% of the bull setup on my chart. I started to believe the bias has really changed and was looking for short setups. The last item on my checklist (a closing correlation between the 5min and 15min TFs) was the only reason I did not short. It would have been disheartening!
Don't just beat the markets, leave bruises.

nah but i meant the gap at 0.8150 which i waited for a full month to be filled... it went all the way down to 0.71 before it came back up this USDCHF...
