Long time ago the Japanese decided to "punish" the currency speculators and it moved something like 15% over two days. Must be 25 years (or perhaps even longer) ago. At least at that time there was some time to get out - now some traders will have been wiped out, particularly some of the larger funds will have been hurt, they cannot work with stops. Suspect that many will not be trading the Swiss for some time to come....

Well, well, well. That crap the Swiss MoF said last week about the Swiss having to live with a strong franc was just that.
Congrats to all who made a ton, wish I'd have been one of them and sorry to those with no stops on there shorts.

Wheres Rattyo now?? lol... btw im still holding that long on USDCHF @0.80... i told you guys i got fed up with that 900 Pip DD, so i moved TP to Open... buddy i got all the reasons to do it... and you see it today... go figure...

next time avoid making a fool out of yourself in front of a fundy trader... they get the Biggest profits by pips when news comes in... such as 2008 US economy crisis... fundies make big...

that's why i found it strange that franc was depreciating a couple of hours before the statement even as news came out to be franc bullish...

seems like some ppl knew and were positioning themselves as such...
