So, what about you? you find the set up few minute before the new candle appear? or wait till the second the new candle appear then see if there are any set up?

Thanks 33drifter,

current example is GBP/AUD possible long trade - daily has crossed up, but H4 has small candles and could possibly head down for the next 24hrs or so before it heads back up again, so ill be watching it over the next 24 - 48 hrs

PA and candle patterns tell me where price is heading, the TDI gives me confirmation and an entry point

I'm looking to switch from trading 1H and smaller to trading Daily because I am just breaking even or turning a small profit and I don't have time to check the charts all the time. Plus, I am looking for higher probability trades. Last week really ate my lunch. My question is that if I am trading daily, and Big E says to have all trades closed at the open of US, would I ignore that and go with ATR*2 for my TP and SL? Thanks.

Yep, Your SL and TP rules remain the same, but the trades pretty much become set and forget, they run for as long as it takes to hit SL or TP.

rules are on post 1 page 1

Price Action (PA) has different interpretations, i look at it as the way price is behaving, or in other words the way the chart looks

No problem - why use 5 words when 25 will do? This, then becomes TMS + F

All new traders - stick to TMS in its truest form, however, never stop learning! You can always add the F at a later date.

This was to attempt to answer Dean's question on Fractals, so if it works for your trading plan, add it - if not, ignore. I have always used fractals on my charts - just another security blanket

Typically I am not trading on Sundays or bank holidays - lack of volume so no real point - anyway - things to do!

My trading times on H4 and Day are 9:30 pm to 10:30 pm PST - M/T/W/T, so I will look for set ups tonight.

whoa....fortunately I didnt get into this one! TDI bullish cross looked great, Stoch oversold... candles are pretty small though. I'm now trading TDI crosses on H1 only if they have at least confirmation on H4.

Just look at the big downtrend and your trying to cash the lowest low ?
Here's a little tip, if your trading those lower time frames then add it to your entry rule to always go with the trend, it's gonna save you a lot of pips.
There are a lot of opportunieties, just take the perfect setups.
Look at this one:
