I have an idea to consider.

is it possible that u can add number of tap on the upper and lower limit?

i mean when ever price reach bottom is number 1 2 3 .... up and down,so we can decide that how many times price have reached up and down limit.

Calling all coders.

I've come up with a heatmap indicator that might be helpful to this method. Since the start of this thread there have been a few guys saying they could help with coding. Squalou has already taken on the EA portion, so I don't expect him to take on any more. So is there anyone else that can help?

Great work by Forexhard & Squalou. I'm thinking that if a price level have many bars that passed through it within a larger N period, then we might need alot of chart space on the right to compare which prive level has a longer heat "count". How about just putting a numerical value on the right of the price level instead?

I saw another possibility here. Mark the rectangle zone across the chart. Then as the price approaches the lower border from below (rising price) - go long and exit at the top of the rectangle. Stop = 2X of the rectangle size. So basically this would be a high win %, low w/l size system. As price approaches zone from outside, you bet that it it will come out the other side of the zone.

I use eSignal Advanced GET - Have for years (2006) - but I would not reccomend paying $ 2,995.00 - like I did. I have also used Ensign - they are good - My Second choice -

good morning traders.

At the moment we have recent shorts on GY and EY. Other yen pairs such as AY looking likely to signal also but I have a rule to not trade more than 2 per instument. The market is nervous of dovishness from the RBA so there may be a trend-change in the air for the aussie which would send AY south quickly (it's effectively been a carry-trade in a flat global market).

There may also be a good retracement short on gold imminent.

I am looking to add to long-term trend trades short GBPCHF and EURAUD, using this entry method but no SL/TP.

Hi Incred, those numbers that apear on the screen measure the movement from the last break out. EG on E/u chart there is a 114 just after the start of the day. (small red arrow)
That is the distance price has moved once breaking out from Fridays break low. (large yellow circle)

Blue number is your box range .. difference between highest price and lowest price within the box .. Orange is the breakout pips .. price moving how many pips away from the box minus the pips buffer line i think

The orange numbers is the distance (in pips) from the last known broken buffer line. The blue number is the distance (in pips) measuring the height of the Consolidation zone (CZ).
