difficult level to brake.
Posible nfp also respect them...
and today we will in 4160~4170 zone

this is the first nfp after the sharks vacation. we could set the pace today. or not.

usually i wait for the first (false) move on these news events to take the opposite direction with a small(er) sl. question is always how far the fake will go.

but somehow, given the calendar, today could be different. strong straight move sets the direction?maybe, maybe.

have some areas on the watchout list (4300-15, 4370-80) and still the bear would be in charge.

on the down side for a spike...
I agree with you. This looks like it is aligning perfectly for a spike up to 1.43 area then a drop down. I have a sell pending at 1.4295 with additional sell order at 1.4325 EDIT: 1.4356

i trade gold a bit differently

compare this

gold moves from 0 to 100

i buy gold at 10 and place stop loss at 0 , my risk is 10

gold moves to 20, i buy at 20 and place new stop loss at 10 for both trades, my risk is again 10

gold moves to 30, i place another trade and move stop loss for all to 20, my risk is 10 and floating profit is 0

i carry on this way till gold reaches 100, and has a sharp correction

my risk is still 10 and profit is err 80 + 70 + 60 + 50 + 40 + 30 + 20 + 10 = ...

in physical gold i would have bought at 10 and held and profit would have been ... and in correction , no protection.

i still loose $10 , lol

Me too sell pending 8 lots @4290 with SL 4308...pending buy from 4310..

September is not exactly off to the flying start that many Wall Street investors had hoped to see, with better than 1 percent drops for the major averages yesterday and looks to continue today.

As world stocks and the euro slip this morning we have seen core government bonds rise as concerns about the euro zone debt crisis resurfaced and investors braced for jobs data that could signal the U.S. economy is heading for recession.
The consensus forecast sees non-farm payrolls growing by 80,000 and the unemployment rate remaining at 9.1 percent, though there have been a few notable recent cuts among those offering predictions. Goldman Sachs this week reduced its prediction to job growth of just 25,000 from its prior 50,000.

4 hour momentum follows a range, and as u can see it is closer to the bottom end of the range, but still bearish

i will prefer to avoid any trade here and call it a weekend instead, and sell on monday or tuesday as the case may be
