All the CHF crosses were showing setups, but I took EURCHF as it looked best. Sell 1.15582 (SL 1.20)

Here's my chart for the day, a 30 min AU trade taken short. Stop set at 2xATR so 26 pips. TDI shows nice angle down and bearish divergence. Big divergence on 1 hr chart too

I take a few signals per week swing trading on the higher time frames – 1 Hr and 4 Hr, and sometimes daily. I scalp on the 15 M chart every day. When the market is ranging or lots of news, I focus on the 15 M charts until a clear trend is established and then revert to back to swing set ups.

I am in two open swing positions currently from Tuesday on the 4 Hr charts - shorting E/U and E/J. Those are the only two swing trades I have taken this week. My first targets have been attained and I am am now at breakeven for my second position on each pair.

Nice trades mate, EU is moving down nicely from treble top I see and EY from UTL...

May I ask what level your second TP is at?

I have read this very interesting thread for the most part and thank those who generously shared this information.

The method is simple, little thing to know and watch, but each time someone was asked specifically " how do I do about the entry price " no one has ever given a precise answer.

I'll try ask again resuming the post of demoreal that clearly expressed the concept.

Big E is pretty clear about qnd he say: " Enter at beginning of candle that have sent the signal" but how can we enter at the beginning of the second candle if it is still in formation?
i have to Enter a beginning of candle being formed taking my risk, or wait for the candle to form and then enter a limit order near the opening price ?

Thanks to those who will finally explain the mechanism

You enter at the BEGINNING of the candle, it does not complete until the end of the candle. It will be forming until it closes. It can be 10 seconds old, it is still the beginning. Enter at the beginning - if you have problems with the term beginning, enter 1 minute into the candle if that makes it easier.

You enter at the beginning of the second candle if and when the first candle has already given you the signal with the TDI cross. If you decide to take the trade you therefore take whatever bid or ask price is available at that moment...

A couple of questions please:

-Sometimes the TDI indicator in 4H timeframe doesn't match the same direction of TDI in 1H timeframe(i.e. one says go ahead and buy and the other screams it is selling time). What should i do in this case?

-You said we should jump in in the first or second candle at most when the green light is on because there might be a reversal coming from the 3 to 8 candels. Does this apply on 4H timeframe only or the 1H timeframe as well. I mean if a reversal occurs in 6 candles in 4H, it should take 24 candles in 1H timeframe.

Not on this thread - search for Trading Made Simple and see if the EA thread is still active - last I saw, they were on version 9 and going strong.

From what I know (limited at best) none of the traders on this thread are using EAs and I have yet to see anyone advocating their use.

The best EA is between your ears - and it doesn't need code revisions - just coffee!
