M15 Trading Method (help required!)

I'll add, most traders seem to be attempting to scalp based on H4 charts and H4 direction, which is utter madness, H4 requires an average hold length of a week approx, anything less and madness.

Was not long ago all you preached was anything over 1min was madness and a waste of time.

I've always said upto M15, sh#t happens and needs must.

Stumbled upon a nice easy to use, less time required method which was required and some nice results so why not.

Didn't expect to obviously not straight from the get go but hey thats life.

After several weeks of no time to trade, scan the charts pick up on a EJ uptrend, set some orders to get in on a pull back and hey presto nice little profits.

Bank holiday and bored today but kids back at school next week so hopefully get back onto the retirement plan.

Shorted USDTRY under 1.7400 earlier, limit hit +75.

Just took AUDUSD Long on the yellow MA lines, +80.


Shame GU over night hold turned down and changed direction, but hey can't win them all, 66% win rate seems to about it which I'm happy with

New setup trading the range with the trend with a well defined SL, really good win rates on this in the right conditions ofcourse.

Good day was around at the right time all trends resumed as per plan +32% today nice

Ej eu ang gj i think it was time spent looking at chart sub 5mins all in.

Only had 1 day with even 5mins to look at charts, +32% on that day, modified method with my range system added really does pick a lot of winners though so will get back on the game soon ish maybe, hopefully.

Becoming a M15 Range with Trend player these days and it's kicking some butt.


Basically you'd got your Middle White line, then 2 white lines you enter near / between here and the red line, SL outside the Red line, keep adding to positions as the market gets nearer to.

BUT only with the long RED triple MA line, or near them better still if both line up.

Exits aim to exit, Middle line first, if it takes it out then next white line and finally max profit at the red.

Here is EJ I did over night and earlier, simple as!! the exit was sloppy on EJ over night as I was sleeping.

I love sleeping and making $$$'s

While typing above, order just filled on USDCHF Long ofcourse.


We shall see, SL of 25.

Closing out both here, thats over 200pips on the day.

Best is, total time spent approx 15mins.

The main thing to learn to crack trading is, the best time to trade is when the trade looks the worst and if it looks worse still after just get some more, keep your SL loose and 95% of the time it'll turn and you'll profit.

I'm firing in orders with the longer term trend and leaving it to load up at the point of max scarey then it turns and all is rosey.

I'm entering with the longer term trend, but counter trend immediately with the assumption from where I'm entering there is likely down side and the longer term trend will likely resume.


Won't always work ofcourse, but it's working enough to make my little account grow very fast.

Some Orders will Fill, others won't, a SL might be hit or might wake up with nice profits.

Stastically I know doing what I'm doing, will over all leave me with a net profit!!

NZDUSD hit the SL. -40 - 69 = -109

Not looking great here, so taking profits.


USDCHF only took 1 position so small profit there +35


USDCAD had 4 positions so +13 +25 +33 +41 = 112


So up $6.71 still not bad while sleeping.


GU looks to be turning up, might risk some longs there.

Markets all changed there direction last 36hours, I got lucky with USDCAD and USDCHF to be around for the perfect exit this am, left loads on the table with GU though but got a fair whack, +73 +68 +78 tad lower and I'd of picked up a 0.2 lot to, ohhh well.

I suspect direction will change back to previous, need to confirm direction either way and wait for better setups, maybe I'll have a better direction tomorrow.


+84% in 8 days, only trading for 3 days really and no real time spent looking at charts, it works well with set and forget entry wise, Exit not prepared to do that, although I do setup high profits incase I miss a spike.

26 seperate positions taken ( some trades take upto 3 or 4 depending on how it goes ) only 4 losing positions, profit rate of 85%, higher than expected it'll level off @75% I think.

If you look at the red 3 ma's, rule #1, Shorts below, Longs above.

Setup 1 :- Look for Entry with Rule #1 near the Red MA's.

Setup 2 :- Look for Entry with Rule #2 Near the next slowest blue MA.

Setup 3 :- Play the Range, the 5 line channel :-

All with Rule #1
White envelope near that start playing the range, so shorting near the top, keep adding more positions until it takes out the Green envelope then give it up.

SL, Over the Red MA or over the Green Envelope, normally I play 40 first position, then same SL on next positions so less risk more upside.

27 trades, 4 losers account +102% in 4 actual days where I've had time to trade, not so shabby.

And it's easy!!
