M15 Trading Method (help required!)

Taking a risk on EU here, well 7 pips higher but never mind.

Odds are it will turn before US open or shortly into, where ??? hence 75SL on this, orders in to average down at -25 and -50.


Filling all 3 then running back to 3400 without looking back, will ofcourse make my day LOL

This is a very good example of why not to do counter trend trades, typically it's a gift that likes to keep errr giving to shorts I'll add.


Typical as EU is normally the choppyest, SL barely scraped by once already and getting danger close again.


Thankfully only 1/2 the normal lots so $22 area worst case.

Yes I moved the SL, yes I bought a 4th position down there but finally started to play ball, buyers coming in, likely shorts taking profits and breaking the down trend channel.


22pips more to BE, 3240 would make my day

Well back around, got a Journal thread instead as it's just me talking to myself mainly LOL


Market conditions are different to trendy the chop / range system isn't really working at all, trading off basically the same but 100sl, 2nd and 3rd entrys off -33 and -66 and much reduced Lot sizes basically playing the trend.

Only demo so far, much slower multiple day holders gone are the quick in 50 - 70 pips and out in an hour or 2, but stick it in the bank for when conditions go back that way I guess

Good to see you're back and ignoring the distractions. The market has been difficult for everyone recently and when it doesn't suit your methodology, either scale back or stop trading until the conditions return. Unfortunately, you don't know what the conditions will be on the next trade and that is part of the puzzle.

Have Trend system and have Chop system but yeah knowing which 1 to use ahead of time is the issue, the chop system for a while had no losses I liked that bring back those days, but it's so trending these days it's almost as good, maybe better we'll see

Over to my journal anyway if you want, called a stack of entry positions last night and I suspect they all worked out.

Back trading Tuesday as Work shoulda calmed down.
