short at 4495 and 4475 set up a loose SL at 4550 and TP for 1 position at 4440 will probably let the 2nd position run and manually manage

I don't trade that pair but just monitoring it...i've been looking at 1,3300 for quite some times now.
This the previous daily swing close.
H1 close below 1,3220 and you might close the trade at BE or better...

And it doesn't seem to be intervention btw

still holding them for a retest.

might be a mistake but i got plan b in case it goes wrong. still profit is locked so it's gonna be a green day.

waited all morning for the long entry and had a loss in the way. but all's good now.

what was your entry point and where are you looking to take your profit?

not sure how much upside could be left in this euro

A clear move above 1,4500 should be in the process...maybe next week, no more juice it seems.
Then i'll know what to do once we go there

just curious, if i place a sell limit order at 1.4520 and it did not trigger today. But there is a gap next week and it jumped to 1.4530, will my sell limit automatically deleted by the broker, or it will still trigger at 4520 or maybe trigger at 4530 ?

guess depends which broker you using............ and it will not deleted by the broker as long as you did not set expired time and if it trigger it will be 4520..........

I have two brokers. I know ONADA will trigger at 4520 because it actually did not close on the weekend, just price did not move but you can still close your order if you want. Another one is named 4runnerforex, i have no idea for how they will do, but based on your explanation, i think it makes sense because they want to minimize trader's benefit (I assume if i have a buy stop at 1.4520 and the market open at 1.4530, they will trigger my order at 1.4530 instead of 1.4520). Thanks, then i think i will just delete my sell limit order and wait for the next week market open and to see the reaction.

What will cause EUR/USD to break through 1.4503 the High today ?

This is a Friday.

Will the Dow go up next week ? Hurricane Irene is on the way and my gut says Dow goes down next week. On Monday morning Europe might bounce on NY close and bring EUR/USD up. High high it goes will show us something. For now I will short near 1.4500

1.4517 and 1.4518 are Resistance points.

IFR was short at 1.4377

I shorted 2 positions at 1.4495 and 1.4496

I closed them already for a quick profit in 30 minutes or so.
