Hi Tut, yes that has been right recently. several people have been writing about it here and in other threads. you often find asian markets are retracing until europe opens in the opposite direction. You'll find good opportunities before 7 gmt.

Trade.yog: Did you hold your trade to 4372 as planned? If you did, CONGRATS man - both our trades worked out, I held to 4360 as planned as well. Its was bumpy getting there, very very bumpy. Heart Attack Bumpy, but it got there.

Whats the exit for your buy? Im waiting until 8pm Eastern to look for a set up to enter either buying or selling, depending on what she says she's going to do.

Hello 2046, thanks for your comment. As you know, all of the so called technical analysis tools that are commonly used work sometimes and sometimes they dont. The markets are driven by politics and politics is the most reliable tool to use for determining market direction. The technical analysis tools used by the majority of traders work if the fundamentals are aligned. This is very hard to deterimine when using any timeframe below the daily timeframe. The Us Dollar is currently being heavily accumulated into the breakdown of the Euro Zone and the European Union which will occur in a few months time.

You're right. Following others can be disastrous. Me too suffered some losses & now am recovering them slowly. Everyone has his own money management so its very necessary to have full control on our own trading strategies.

yes of course it's not all techincal. I thought of add a comment to fundamental drivers taking over but it was a soley technical chart hence no reference.
As for the Euro Zone, time will tell

Hi Everyone,

This is much so I'm just gonna try to summarize it as short as possible. Someone posted yesterday something about sharing our opinions with charts. Well I'm really sorry I've been posting without charts and will still continue it but please it's not because I'm disobedient or stone-hearted but just because time doesn't warrant me to do so. I really enjoy this thread and it's the only reason I registered with FF. I'm gonna be posting my charts once in a blue moon and I hope your bear with me.

Now Business,
The reason I was bent on the Euro touching 4350 before the move up was because we are currently in a bullish elliot wave three. And looking at the charts below, we see that splitting the wave 3 into 5 mini waves we created wave 1 at 4499. Today ended the correction that formed the wave 2 and I believe we are starting a wave 3 inside a bigger wave 3. This new wave 3 is supposed to cap at around 4647. I'm just posting this so others could have an idea what possibly the major trend might be. The weekly chart also posts a bullish flag. I can't explain more than this for now. Please feel free to ask any questions. I believe in fundamentals, but I strongly believe even ATA(Absolute Technical Analysis) can forecast macro events. If you have the right entries and good mm, the spikes during fundamentals will always settle back to norm. I'm not a fan of the EMH. Thanks.

BTW, for friends needing Patrick Mikula's "Definitive Guide to Forecasting Using W.D. Gann's Square of Nine" book, I do have a copy, could help scan the chapters you need into pdf and maybe mail it to you or something if that wouldn't be violating any copyright issues. Never read the book though.

Just in my own simple opinion. In life, nothing is sure and so is price action.

Trade.yog: I'm setting a market order to take me in short at 4410 if it should get there. Its has to get past 4390 and 4400 first. Im still warming up back to the charts and I have to restart my news feed subscriptions. I had taken couple months break to deal with a matter of the heart.

Well Im off - Will be back for 8pm eastern - HDA OUT

selling at 4410 will be a good deal .. risk to the upside is 4490 though .. but if u gonna hold the short then nothing wiser than that on short term ..

Just some simple trend lines.. Relatively new to Forex still.. Amazed how trend lines are being respected over a long period of time. Most volatile bullish .44500-45000 rallies got triggered straight from that mid trend line.
