1.4470 is upper trend line resistance for the past week on the hourly. If we don't see a breech of that area then we are still rage bound IMO.

Warren Buffet's move shifted the market sentiments at least in the very short-term. Now all those who proclaim BoA doomed will have to shut up. Risk on, but Euro is still going to chop til Bernanke i think.

I agree, although I don't think we will see a new trend emerge in this market until the start of September.

Well, I expect high volatility at least until Bernanke tells us what he is doing with the USD as well as next week, when we will see some more serious plays by the market movers...

If we were to break (convincingly not just crappy range) 1,45 or 1,44 today I would be very surprised but also happy, as I hate this range... over 2 months now...

on the 1 hour chart, i drew a line connected the lows from Aug 22 to today (which was from 1.4350 to around 1.4400 so they formed higher lows) and another line connected the highs from Aug 23 to now (which was from 1.4500 to around 1.4460 so they formed lower highs). So probably EU will stay between 1.4400 to 1.4460 until tomorrow's speaking.
I do not know how to paste the chart, anyone can tell me?
