I haven't traded the system myself but I could answer your question. It looks like a fair enough system. I use stochs with heiken ashi and an ma, seems to be working out ok but still testing. If you decide to try this system out then post your results here so everyone knows whether to try it or not.

I tried it before and I trade primarily with stochs and different approaches with the stochs and such and I never really traded this system exactly but similar entries as this I ssimilar to the pull back trades that spud fyre outlines on his threads simply using different time frames as opposed to different settings with stochastics....but they both give different entries and show a trend and good areas of momentum and such...so it works pretty well man...but money management and trade management will make or break...and that's where I went wrong before but I've matured so its better now and I have posted a few of these entries on my journal...but my main approach uses stoch and moving averages also...I had haiken ashi on but recently switched to regular candles....

Why did you switch back to candles? I find HA very useful.

Honestly I initially switched back because I couldn't see the actual price action but than got something that shows regular candles with ha color but stopped using that because I figured it kind of defeats the purpose of ha candles and reading what they are telling you...and I just never switched back again because I must say that I probably don't know how to employ the ha as it is intended or the more useful methods of employing it...and I never found it very necessary to really dedicate the time to put in to learn the ha and such as it is not an integral part of my trading plan like the stochastics are...but maybe one day I will give it a real shot as the hype around ha must be there for a reason I'm assuming....in what ways do you employ the ha...

I think HA makes it easier to see the immediate trend. It is useful to keep you in a trade longer if you trail your stop behind the wicks. It just makes everything look a lot smoother without the choppiness of regular candles and you know if HA candles look choppy it's a market to avoid.

I'm currently working on something special for eurusd scalpers using HA but I have to fully test it first before I reveal it. Watch this space.

i hope sow i m using a 4 stocastic time frame whit good results 1d 4h 1h 30m 15m all give same signal enter it is on testing for 10 or 20 pibs whit 50 trades no loss

Hi There,

I quite like the signals I was getting from this sexy stochastic system.

Found it frustrating to find pairs giving signals.

So I built a very simple scanning script that I would like to share with any one who would like to try it out.

It scans 19 pairs from M1 to D1 time frames - all selected by external parameter.

I set the default to only report for H1 H4 and D1 time frames.

Save this ex4 file under \expert\script folder and restart your meta.

You can now run the scanner script any time you like and it will alert you to the pairs and time frames that are presenting sexy stoch signals.

Hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

It is obviously better running this at London open and New York Open times. I use stop orders and set SL and TP and forget about it!

I also include my template file if you wish to use it.

See picture for the Alerts you will get.

First of all thanks for the sricpt and template.
Of course I started testing and I have a question.
I get an alarm on EURCHF. The last bar has not turned th 5 down yet. So I would like to know on which bar the signal given.
Is it on the bar marked with the vertical line?

Is the entry marked with the red line according to rules?

Can anyone say something about the hitrate of this system? Say after entry there is a x% of trades reaching at least 20 pips positive.

Hi there, I like the sexy system too. I was lucky enough to even chat with boxinglife, the creator of this thread. It's a very simple system, but you must consider price action (candle formation) and support and resistance lines in order to trade this with the odds in your favor. The very first pages of this thraed are all you need to understand the basics. As boxingislife told us, it is better to wait for the perfect set ups and use larger time frames. You can use the 4h or 8H to see the big picture and then trade 15m or 30m with de set ups that match the larger time frame context. Other thing you can do to avoid unnecesary headaches is to set up the stochastics calculations with "close to close price" and never make a trade if there is no cross of the 20-80 levels.

I ony use 2 stochs, the third was optional and it can be set off. Stochs are 5,3,3 red and 15,20,10 blue and this is the 4h for gold. As you can see, the Fast stoch (red) show more relaible behavoir. Hope this help. I will share more of my version but I think I will open a new thread in order to respect the original system and to avoid confussion.

Give to this system a chance, it will teach you a lot about forex, futures and stochs.

This is another good example of sexy stochs set ups with the NZDUSD.

I set up the sell limit order on sunday afternoon, My expectation was that fast stoch would cross the slow stoch and make a big correction. As it can be seen, I was right in the price level, but wrong in the tme of the entry. Nevertheless I managed my trade and grabed 60 (or 600, depending if youcount the fractional pips) with the 50% of the position, and after I moved my SL to secured 50 pips (or 500) wiht the rest when I saw price was resting 0.76500 area.

The price reversed and hit the SL. I share the picture I was seen at the moment, so now it can be compare to actual chart and see that the correction happen but next day. And the lesson here is: you can be right in the price level, but wrong in the time. And you can be right in the time but wrong in the price level. But with good trade managment and a bit of luck, you can graab some pips. By the time the correction happend I was worry about my mistake and I let the down swing go. This happens a lot, but it is the bred and butter of trading forex.
