Right now markets for trading are great in the most liquid and usually less volatile instruments like the ES but they make a lot of noisy, oversensitive to speculation and difficult charts in currencies.

It always happens so it things go back to "normal" times is only a matter of changing the priorities in the instruments you trade.

Meanwhile most instruments breaking S or R before reports, only yen and chf holding on air.

ECB bond purchases and EURO getting devalued

ECB is doing QE3 for globe and only thing that goes up is gold

well both us and ez, have successfully kicked the can, i still need to catch up on the italy situation/ecb bond purchase program, but yeah rolling the printing presses fundamentally should weigh on euro, but how often does this particular pair follow the fundys? also, there's the buy the rumour, sell the news (or vice versa) factor..

Made a larger short from 1,438 to 1,436 now adding small longs, hard stop 1,4300. I don't believe we will touch that before US news and US markets have to have their say first...

Well to be honest is the most fundamentally driven pair (even more than cable) by far. The problem is not getting lost in translation on the intraday charts. I will try to upload the fundamental chart I used to post here later...

yeah agree, just plateaued since most recent impulse, possible dt or possible stair step situation in play, i don't think it liked the whole brinkmanship thing over us debt...
