Wouldn't that actually be the 2nd candle? Since the first candle (set up candle) would be after the MA?

I watched this, but at entry it was pretty flat. Theres resistance at 4885 if it gets that far...

Ignore the ema...it means the first or second reversal candle...as in the change of colour....so you check the candle first..if there has only been one or two reversal candles (at the opening of each candle) THEN you see if the tdi has crossed.
see chart for first reversal candle....colour change.... now we wait and see if the tdi crosses and at what angle etc etc.

Wasn't quite the ideal entry criteria for me, but within the region where I still usually get good results.

It actually looks a pretty good trade to me....its bounced off a strong trendline too. Be nice if it can punch through 4450 and make it up close to the last swing high.....good 50-70 pips in that.

does anyone trade the 4hr charts exclusively. If you do, do you ever leave your trades running longer than the 3 or 4 bars that Big E does. I mean do you ever leave them running say until the TDI crosses over or goes flat etc, this could be many bars later, sometimes even 10 or 12.

Just be very careful of jpy pairs, if I recall jpy intervention occurred around these levels?

Anyway theres lots of support down here now and you can also look back in Mar to see what happened. Massive divergence also, I'd suggest care.

Ah yeah, sorry, i'm in the UJ Short ... having said that, even the EU looks slow moving tonight ...

Hi again all.. Yes Vantage that's good advice.. We are now on candle 3 and there is not much strength in the move.. Green TDI is starting to turn up.

Sorry I have been rude not introducing myself. I am from UK been trading for a number of years but I never yet found a style that suits me well. I have been reading this thread on and off for a goo old while, lurking so to speak lol.

This method is nice and simple and I'd like to thank Big E and all the contributor's on here for all the input. I will try to contribute as time allows..

SO I imagine everyone is out of that EU trade...tdi has reversed along with PA.....I must be geting something drastically wrong.....it looked good to me.
I would love to hear the experienced guys here explain what went wrong with this.....for some reason I have a knack for jumping in on the strong candles that then proceed to reverse completely.
