Hi bobowang,

"Convincing it is possible to make huge profit" is the most difficult part in the journey for me so far.

If it is possible to make 1000% a year, why it is not possible to make 100000% a year? There is no logic difference between the former and the later, only a difference in degree.

Asking kostas1 to post myfxbook account information was the first post I made on this thread more than half year ago. Nevertheless, it is up to him because of privacy and personal preference.

Since he is not accepting tuturiol fee or managed fund to earn money, I find there is no point for him to make up anything here continuously every day to convince anyone.

the percentage number of the profits is amazing. but the absolute amount (2XX,XXX) is not that big. it's not enough to achieve financial freedom. maybe 2,XXX,XXX is enough, 1000% profits to go. really hope you can make it in next 4 months. then let us know! -
and about the 100000% profit, I have no doubt about it. I already made more than 2000% profit in last 3 years (large Time Frame). so I know it's possible. I just wanna learn some short term trading strategies, because they are more powerful to make profit.

I found out about this thread because a veteran hedge fund manager told me about it in a bar. I don't know if he is using choros but he said he likes the concept and has been using some of its concepts(I don't know in what way). So my thinking is, if a successful old timer hedge fund manager likes it, it got to be the real deal. It does work period.

PS: I know at least 1 very deep pocket person taking notice of this thread(the amount of money his fund manages is more than 8 digits), that was why I first ask about the volume capacity of the market in smaller TF. But so far patterns are holding so I don't think it is a big deal.

Remember Kosta1 started with only 400, so to grow into 2xx,xxx is a tremendous achievement. With this growth rate, there is no doubt he can achieve another magnitude in account size in no time.

It take discipline, experience, sharp instinct to market pulse to get such performance, obviously, that Kosta1 has that.

I really wish I have time to trade during US/London session, these are periods to tune your thought process with the market rhythm and train your perception of price movement.

For your information, there is an very easy way to take the thread "The Dance" back.

Maybe you know, the thread "Pro Swing Trading" was moved to the Recycle Bin several months ago, but now, it's back to normal. Just because one of the thread follower showed a convince trading performance to the FF admin in trade explorer for one month based on the signals in that thread.

Thanks Binyamin. This is very valuable information for me. I don't really have personal access to professional traders since they are probably kind of rare in Greece. But knowing that a veteran hedge fund manager, and a 8-digit account manager follow the thread solves one of my last questions about the future. I was always wondering, what happens if account crosses to 6-digits and if it would be necessary to change my approach. In my opinion I may have to change TFs at that point (H4, H1?) but in any case your post further improves my confidence, so thanks for that.

My main objective to subscribe to Forex Factory forums is to learn and share the forex trading experiences + strategies. Am completely a newbie in forex trading world.

I have spent couple of hours to read this thread, was hoping to find the basic strategy rules along with some tips (based on the real trading experience), but couldn't find it. I believe, it must be posted somewhere, but there are just too many posts to scan through and I might be lost somewhere. It would be nice, if any one of you give yourself a trouble to post it again. I would appreciate that!

Once, I get the strategy guidelines. I would like to spend decent time for backtesting and do paper trading until I get the hang of it. I believe, most of you have already completed these steps, but this is something I want to believe this thing works! This can be only done by actually doing it

good morning! anybody else traded this beauty?!

took my first trade just now. took +10 pips on this one . didnt want to take more as i didnt like how price was rejected on 35MA on 1h
delicious pinbar at ema 50 on 5 min, RN, bounce off ema 50 on 15 min also

took couple of non-Choros trades - just hoooorible. couldnt get out of the trade where i wanted as my platform wasnt reacting because market was moving so fast

anyway - patience paid off. took Choros trade as price was rejected at MA35 on 1h. also daily pivot, RN, ping pong. shorted it for +8.5 pips need to be more patient - there was a lot more to squeeze from this trade

A nice scooping-up for +47p. The H4 pinbar was convincing to let this trade go for so many pips (typo in the picture says H1 pinbar). I have 10% still open for 1.45 with SL at +20.

i tried to short GBP at daily pivot. didnt go to well; was too late. i am terrible at trading GBP.

I started CHOROS with mainly trading GU. The last two months I am trading primarily EU (95% of my trades) since it is more predictable and gives good volatility. GU lately I had tough time trading, ranging and porcupining a lot. Some days when a good trend establishes itself there and if I am not into an EU trade, I am still playing with it.

if the MAs are unwinded and what you look at makes sense i find it far easier to trade than EU. the only bad thing is/was it is heavily related to the EU pair and with so many news out for the euro lately you have to keep an eye on both for any important levels/touches.

as a side note, despite the recent movement i think both EU and GU are kinda range-bound on the higher TFs. i hope we get back to normal in 2 weeks or so.

Well,

we have a 3ple top with GBP at a previous S/R level.

It's an hard level to break, I would therefore now take care to still going long there, until the market shows us its intention...

I would like to understand a bit more what you thought by entering that trade:
at the moment of your entry the MAs were a bit flat, what did convince you to see that scooped up as "good" ?

Could it be perhaps the strong previous M15 PA, in the way it reacted to the negative news ?

I will agree with asos that if there is a trend in place, GU reacts instantly on the classic CHOROS trades, whereas EU usually confirms with one or two M5 bars. But lately GU is doing all kinds of shitty fakes probably due to the EU news as asos notes.
