You can to trade any TF ...waves are waves...

DDaytrader just trades the daily chart with his piramid sonic adaptation...

You could read his post.

Big wave, small wave don't mind so much...if your direction is right you'll do profit...if not your sl will save your ass...

applied what i learned frm u when i got home this morning and bagged +28 pips. could have been more though. scenanarios: while zeroing with the entry point in M5, i laid down the FE with PA going down. i was constantly adjusting FE to get the right Base C. then i put buy stop, SL, TP order. am i doing this right or theres more proper approach to this? sorry if i hve to put it on details i just dont want it to look like i was able to take the trade it out of pure luck.
hans, what are other things do i have to consider before pulling the trigger? in terms of SL, how should i pre qualify if the trade if youre going to take it or not? coz ive seen some post here, their SL's are quite high, i mean above or more than sonic normally suggest.

Nando, you and hansma are consistently making early entries, not classic Sonic R. entries. Just about any time now, I expect a certain Soniker to say about your trade something like this......

1. The bears seemed to have a strong influence during that time frame.
2. PA failed at the TL.
3. Lower high.

On M15, right after the London session closed, the price was run up fast and down even faster! The volume study surely shows what Sonicdeejay calls "stopping volume. Now, I am wondering if Sonicdeejay will say, "At 1.4460 it is screaming "Short!"" as he said it was screaming "Long!" at 1.4130.

I'd never say that about the way Hans and Nando trade SonicR - if you recall, it is almost identical to the way I traded SonicR on M15 - just go back to my old posts.

My criticism of you, TAH, is with your Losers Averaging Losers approach, which not only is not SonicR, but it flies in the face of SonicR money management.

So you made one trade where you behaved yourself. Great! Now, let's see about a thousand more without any of your reckless pyramiding of losing position upon losing position.

Is my criticisim selective and biased? You bet it is - because you are the only one in the 25,000+ posts in this thread who has made a repeated show of those stupid trades. Stop the madness, and I will stop the criticism.

By the way, quite a few Sonikers have come out against your adding to losers strategy in recent days, including Sonic himself in two posts yesterday.

So let us be clear - the fib stuff Hans and Nado do is always done with strict SL and TP's, and trades in direction of the waves. Not only will I not criticize it, I would recommend Sonikers in Training study their posts. Fibs work in forex, always have, always will. But they only work in our favor when applied to price action and the waves. Hans has this figured out, and he has shown himself to be an able teacher.

You, on the other hand, do not typically trade SonicR, let alone anything close to what is on the chart. You trade your opinions, and your opions blind you to price action. Yesterday you were adding short upon short to a rising EU while even the most junior Soniker was posting tha he recognized long SonicR in the making. I recommend that until you prove that you can commit to trading SonicR using Sonic money management, that SOnikers in training should put you on ignore. I love you buddy, but I think you are the most dangerous thing on FF right now.

I hope you can stick to the new way, i.e. trading with sound money management, but based on what happened last week, I doubt you could even last one month trading SonicR with sound money management. If you want to prove me wrong, do it! I would love to see you string a month of trading together the right way.

But you are incapable of doing it, TAH. You'll be back to your old tricks before 9/16/2011, and probably well before that date.

Big commendatory about the system you know all about the system but you make losses always so better to stop posting your trades it will mislead the junior members or try to understand ddtrader and show your ability to make profitable trades

a usefull one word is more powerfull than 1000 useless words
so writing more is nothing than a simple word from sonic

ddaytrader, my friend (and you are), I love it when you say I trade my opinions, as though nobody else does! That gives me quite a chuckle! Everybody trades their opinions. Nobody would enter any trade without having the opinion it was the right thing to do!

What separates some of my trades from those of others, is that I am not so quick to throw in the towel on my convictions. And let me tell you, while I have to wait for profit, it comes far more times than not. It is not the losing strategy you claim it to be. I am unable to be right all the time, but over time I am right most of the time, and have a net profit.

However, though I might fall off the wagon now and then, I am still committed to Sonic R. trading, and am totally capable of it, as I have just shown. Changing gears, or to say changing habits, is not instantaneous. I know that from life in general. And I am sure you do to. But go ahead, take every opportunity to criticize while I navigate my course.

That is simply not true. I make much better than I lose. And if you, or anybody else were to actually take the time to track every trade I have posted, you would know that.

I don't mind advice.
I don't mind criticism.

But when someone ignorantly spouts, without even having the facts, that is laughable.

For the record, my experiment trades represent profit, not loss. Any opinion to the contrary is ignorance. The only objection, and I am sympathetic to it, is that it represents a money management philosophy is that is not that of the Sonic R. System.

Mike, Lemna is correct. Sonicdeejay has specified the London session for good reason. It is when the BBs come to the table. Their moves can invalidate all technicals, opinions and hopes! Trade with them instead of being in a trade when they come to do their thing, because there is no predicting what their "thing" will be!

Nando said waves are waves, and referred to ddaytrader's day TF trading. Well, yes. The concept of the Sonic R. System can be applied to any time frame. But you must figure in the necessary changes in the key elements if you switch to a larger time frame. For example, what might be a 30-70 pips SL trading the M15, might necessarily become a 100-200+ pips SL trading on the Day chart! Little matters such as that might go unnoticed unless you really think about it. Another consideration is that there are fewer trades on larger TFs. ddaytrader has posted one, maybe two, since his return?

It is possible to trade M15 Sonic R. outside of the London session successfully. I bear witness to a key consideration, however, which is to not be in any such trade when the time for the London open approaches. And the targets for such trading are more appropriately much lower than for London session trading. For example, if you trade the asian session, then 5-35 pips is good. Don't hold out for more by holding the trade into the London session. You can get creamed that way! Sometimes the London session will go your way, and sometimes it won't. Opening a trade in the asian session and holding it into the London session adds risk to the trade. As I said, I bear witness to this.
