we can see in the weekly candle chart USDYEN a candle with upper wick(230 pips) that show us power of buyers . now rate is 76.78 .
but we will see a retest in 80.xx again
also attention to lower wick this week and also past week =2011.3.13

Also note on the USDJPY the last 2 weekly bars have the same lows. Tweezer bottoms could be at work here starting next week

80 lvl might be a good target, although this will take some time

Thank you all for this thread.pls correct me if am wrong.For this pair,what i see is a dark cloud cover with a sell off.This candle pattern is a high reliability bearish signal and it means that pair is going down for days/weeks.

This one is tricky. On my charts it has broken a weekly trendline, if I look at different broker.

The cause for the sell off was big trouble at the stock market, because
of the downgrade of the US.

The big question is, if the market will calm down now, or panic goes on. On my S&P500 chart we have build a top and will dramaticly fall from here or goes sideways (quarterly and yearly (interisting !) s&p500 chart attached).

I agree with this view hussin. The weekly hammer are perfect, but they are not driven by the market. I think, they will be short lived and give good entry for short. The problem is, if there will be another intervention then, this will be hard to handle. Without intervention eur/chf will below 1 and usd/chf will below 0.70.

pretty dark cloud cover for nzd/usd with good result. Question is, if its power is gone, or just pause.
