Check out youtube for some Sam Seiden videos on trading supply and demand.

Possibly the best way these areas are defined by Sam is Supply - where price is sold, Demand where price is bought.

In a couple of his videos he refers to the support levels, or demand as wholesale prices, and the areas of the chart that are being sold off or Supply as retail...

Buy low, sell high.

Daily roll is a strong S/R line. IF you are observing the daily candles, you have to understand candlestick trading as well as have a base understanding of the overall trend.

Right now, I am sitting long, but if you use NY as your daily candle, you will see that the previous session boasts a lower low and a lower high...this in typical terms is a DOWNTREND.

But given the dogshit week, and the channel I drew on my previous chart, I think there is still a possibility for a little more meat on the bone, or a better retail level to unload this bitch.

What you mean?. I was referring at the panic in the markets. The last 4 days all moves in all markets has been triggered by rumors and panic and after the French explain the bla bla and NY opened, stock markets (well all markets) got back to a more normal environment.

Obvisuly nothing has changed on the real problems. EZ debt and banking sector is a mess and US economy is sluggish playing with fire and cheap money.... So nothing has changed there, two ugly sisters, ugliest than ever.

Nasir, I know you come from the order flow thread and in there you guys pay a lot of attention on who is behind the move but for Magix (sorry for jumping to answer Mate) and many others that use the daily roll the who is irrelevant.

The daily roll in the context of a daily range is important because 1st is one of the level that is widely open and available for almost every single trader in the world (despite the size), 2) because lots indicator or not systems (from pivots to option premium players) use the close as part of the calculation 3) daily rolls are reflected in every daily chart so all S/R swing traders use it one way or another 5) Most of the daily swings in a rally or selloff end or finish at swing daily roll...and I can keep going on....

So when you have lots of traders watching and/or using directly ot indirectly a level this becomes a key reference (obviously you can't just use it out o context). That why is valid TA not because of who is using it but because lots of traders are using ....and in any TA principle thats what it counts...

Take all of my entries on M1/M2 with SL <10-15 and add on every new break / retrace. So that m30/h1 scenario (which could very well flip big time since the inverse correlation techs there are just bonkers there since the last days) is just a wild guess.

Yeap a mess....9 consecutive alternate bars green/red made inside of inside bars in a wide range.....btw we beat the all time record in the euro of daily consolidation since the euro started trading.

there is 3-3:30 EST fixing flow but its minor compared to Tokyo, ECB, or London fixings

That makes all the sense.

Yeah i am from OF group but I also use TL's and SR all day.

But to be honest i never looked daily roll the way you just have described its importance. will observe the pa around it from now on.

You may feel talking to yourself as i have't replied to your posts. The reason is i am not able to.

Because I am not familiar with terminology's you used in your post's as i never used daily roll as a reference in my trading before. I will have to spend some time with the charts/post you posted and will come back to you if i still dint understand it.
