I let my trades run for +200 thinking it will go to +300 but then it goes against me. I panic and then close the trade for BE or -100

I need to train my brain...cause this forex makes me look stupid

Hi again) It is hot here too 105 degrees ,I traded my call sold@81, closed and will wait for a little , because I just woke up ,drinking coffee ) Can not wait to see your calls they usually very close to mine ,take care )

OK, kurt, listen mate. You are not diciplined, for if you were, you'd never suffer those sorts of losses. I think we have got to the bottom of your problems. You've got to have a strategy right, so do you stick to it? Bet you don't! I know about stupid losses, we all do, and they happen when we abandon our trading rules. If you cannot follow your strategy, you cannot succeed as a trader. Work on your discipline, and work on it like your life depends on it. Stick memos on your wall, do whatever you can to make sure that you do not lose your composure. If the trade doesn't feel right or look right, let it go, there will be plenty more on the way. The way to go about it is to determine beforehand the amount you want to make in a day or a week, etc. Once you hit it, clear out no matter what

What you need to do is have targets. Each trade needs to have a take profit, even if it's multiple points... track them out... targets #1, #2, #3 etc...

and a 'I am wrong point. Some people use stops, others close the order when price closes below a certain level.

Trade zone to zone dependant on the time frame you are looking at. If you are on the 5m, you shouldn't be targeting 100+ runs, you should be looking for 10-50(on the extreme) side.

On the other hand, on the daily, I am usually looking for 150-500(extreme again). Calculate your risk, expected profit levels...

Make this a very programmatic experience. If-then-if-then-else. Don't worry about the noise that happens in the markets... it's just a part of it.

Example yesterday I took a u/j long in late asia... I mentioned to someone if it closes below x level, I will close the order out as well. the 15m chart I was looknig at closed below, so on the retest of my 'i am wrong' level, I closed it. -3 pips or so (2 of which was the spread). It just so happened that this was also a level that determined the direction. I didn't take the short because I was exhausted and needed to relax a minute, but it would have netted me a cool 22 pips (target to the south side). 30 if I would have played a bit of slip.

It takes time, and a lot of it. But once you 'get it'... you will be staring yourself in the mirror... going wtf? really? That was it? This becomes a very boring experience for income and while we say we try not to become predictors of pa, but reactors... it sure likes to behave a certain way time and time again.

almost everyday after breakfast i will manage to win 100 pips and at the end of the day il end up losing it all before going to sleep, thats almost evryday last month! why is it do you think?

You are the only one that can answer that question. You are the one performing the actions. What are you doing for the winners? The losers? What's the difference there?
